Microdart patches have become quite popular lately! I often have mixed feelings around them, but these dark spot patches from Hanhoo worked more successfully on me than most. The microdarts are meant to deliver the lightening ingredients more deeply...
These don't necessarily work immediately, although they're marketed as a quick fix. When the darts dissolve into liquid, it causes the patch to slide around my face.
