Antirougeurs Calm Soothing Mask
I have a very hard time using any kind of facial masks, even if they are formulated for highly sensitive skin and have a solid ingredients list. The masks that I have tried that don't cause any me irritation or flare ups, don't make a difference. If a product doesn't provide any results or benefits fkr my skin, obviously it wouldn't be worth spending my hard earned money on it -- which has made my skincare journal particularly challenging and frustrating.
This mask, on the other hand, is amazing and I can't tell you enough how much I love it! It has done wonders for my chronic dryness, flakeyness, rosacea, and ezcama. It goes on partially translucent, immediately start soothing and hydrating my skin, and is easy to wash off (the instructions recommended using cotton balls). It leaves my skin looking glowing, soft, and has helped cleaned some nasty break outs I had on my chin. I cannot recommend this enough!
It is expensive, esepically for how small the bottle is. This barely last me 4-5 uses and I wasn't putting a lot on my skin whatsoever (the instructions stated to apply thickly, and I definitely only applied a thin layer). I really wish it came with more product, esepically for how pricey it is.
Update: after using this a few more time after writing this review the first time, it began to make my skin sting/burn, and increased redness. Not entirely sure why or if it is something I'm doing wrong, but I've had to stop using this altogether to avoid comprising my skin barrier.
