Melano CC Vitamin C Moisture Cream
This cream claims to target hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone, which is what most brightening creams promise to deliver. So what makes it stand out?
I did a little bit of digging and here are some of this cream's ingredients:
- Vitamin E, which acts as a Vitamin C booster
- Salicylic Acid (BHA), which is an exfoliant that mainly targets oiliness and acne-related issues
- Lactic Acid (AHA), which helps in addressing skin texture concerns
- Jojoba and Rosehip Oil, which helps in soothing and nourishing the skin
I also used to pair this with the Melano CC Vitamin C Essence since Vitamin E greatly boosts the efficacy of Vitamin C, and I can say that this pair greatly helped with my PIH and I'd already seen significant results 8 weeks into using the products.
I used this for about 6 months and my first impression of it was that it's a bit thick for someone who's got oily and acne-prone skin. Though that may be the case, it's still manageable as long as you don't put a lot on your face. It also dries up pretty quickly and that made it more tolerable by my standards.
