Nature's Friend - august.serenade review for Mask Sheet Houttuynia Cordata

💚 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗨𝗘 I bought this mask after I know it was in the top 10 best selling sheet mask at Olive Young. 💚 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗧 𝗜𝗦 • It helps to even out skin tone, restore elasticity, minimizes wrinkles and strengthens skin immune system. 💚 𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 • Houttuynia Cordata, aloe leaf juice, HA, hydrolyzed collagen (okay I like this one), betaine • Oil: argan, evening primerose, geranium • Extract : cica, ginkgo biloba, chamomile leaf and flower, angelica, peach, rosemary leaf, PCR, pepper fruit, Usnea 💚 𝗠𝗬 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 ✍🏼 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙧/ 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚 • I got 5 pieces for a price of RM5+/ each (USD1+). ✍🏼 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 • I use this either in my AM or PM routine, before the moisturiser steps. I use it around 15 minutes top to avoid it sucking out the moisturizer from my skin. ✍🏼 𝙏𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚/ 𝙎𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 • It’s a tencel sheet material made from a natural fiber with 99% naturally derived extracts and 50% Houttuynia Cordata extract. There is a sweet faint scent but it didn’t bother me much. • It has 25ml of essence, not to bad, this ml is just enough for my face, I do have a big ablong face. The essence is a clear runny texture, I tried to squeeze the essence out from the packaging directly to the sheet mask that was on my face, the essence just drip and run down on the sheet to my shirt. Yep, that’s how runny it was. ✍🏼 𝘽𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚/ 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝 • The sheet fits on my face however it’s not the best compared to other sheet masks that I’ve tried before. It adhered to my skin quite well. • I can use this sitting down without worrying that it will slide down my face, it won’t move a bit. • It leaves a tacky feeling, but no worries, there is moisturiser after this. ✍🏼 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩 • The first time I used it, there was a tingling sensation and it made me uncomfortable wearing it, it lasted until half way of the time. I don’t know why it happened but I just think maybe because of my skincare routine that has something to do about it. • The second time I used it, the same thing happened, but the tingling sensation was slightly less compared to the first time. But, I’m still scared of what might be the reason to this. • The third time I used it, thankfully no more strange sensation! Yay! • One thing to note though, just a personal preference, I realized that I don’t like the sheet material tencel, I kept on thinking that my skin can’t breath while using it, maybe because I ‘feel’ the material on my skin much more compared to the sheet that can be considered like a second skin, which is very comfortable. • On the effects, it did hydrate, calm and soothe my skin despite the few first time that I had not so good experience with it. 💚 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗨𝗘 ✍🏼 𝙎𝙤.. Not gonna re-purchase this again. There are many out there that is cheaper and more comfortable than this like the Mediheal Tea Tree.
