Dermatologist Sunscreen SPF 30
✅ Alcohol (Ethanol / Alcohol Denat.), fragrance, and essential oil-free
✅ Water resistant, cruelty-free, and coral reef-friendly
✅ Hybrid sunscreen with broad-spectrum protection and five star UVA protection
✅ Moisturizes skin with panthenol and glycerin
The sunscreen comes at an affordable price of PHP550 (USD10+) from a reliable reseller in the Philippines, similarly priced on the official Altruist website. It offers a generous amount of product with 200ml and provides no excuse to skimp in applying sunscreen! What stands out in the product for me is that it claims to have PPD 39 (Persistent Pigment Darkening) that protects your skin from burning 39 times longer than without sunscreen.
I would recommend this sunscreen for people with dry skin types and those who live in countries or areas with little humidity.
❗️The sunscreen coats the skin with a white film upon initial application and may take a few minutes to be blended into the skin.
❗️Leaves a shiny finish on the skin once absorbed.
As much as I wanted to love this sunscreen, the product leaves a white film after applying to my face and clings to my eyebrows and hairline. The product doesn’t immediately set to my face and needs to be blended really well for the white film to disappear. As someone with oily skin, the product leaves a shiny finish on my face after being absorbed and looks greasy as I wear it throughout the day, especially with the humidity in the weather where I’m from. It also stings my eyes when applying sunscreen on my eyelids due to the chemical filters in the product such as Avobenzone.
I would rate this product 3 out 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
