Pink Collagen Serum
To be used as a serum right, this product comes in a pump bottle. It features ingredients like Wild Berries Extract, Rosehip Fruit Oil & Squalane.
Well, the good thing about this serum is its price – not overly expensive and moderately affordable for all demographics. At the first glance, this serum has a pretty impressive ingredient list so with such a price tag, this seems like an amazing serum.
However, it just went downhill from there onwards. It has a consistency of a milky liquid but the trick here is a hint of oil – probably due to the inclusion of Squalane & Rosehip Fruit Oil – which makes the finishing super greasy, for me at least. I tried to change my application methods – from two pumps to one pump, from rubbing to patting, from using hands to cotton pads – it is still greasy on my skin. You can actually feel like there is a layer of oil sitting on your skin, giving an uncomfortable feeling. The scent, on other hand, gives me a mild headache over time which is kind of off-putting since I could not seem to find any fragrance component in its ingredient list. Experience-wise, it already gave me a bad impression but it was not until I realized that this serum broke my skin out. It gave me tiny bumps and after I stopped using this, my skin felt much healthier. I expected a lot from this serum because the cream from the same line is so good! I think my skin just does not react well with this serum but I am pretty sure someone will love this.
Overall, if you have the same skin type & concerns as me – oily, acne-prone – you might want to avoid this serum because it surely did not work well on me. I can see someone with dry, dehydrated skin loving this, so if you are up for some adventures, you can try it!
