Angels on Bare Skin
This is actually not bad for a product which is formulated with a bunch of essential oils! I really enjoyed the exfoliation properties of this product!
Scrubbing with this fresh face cleanser is such a sensorial experience. I definitely appreciated the mild exfoliating properties of the grounded almonds. I noticed that my skin has benefited from this kind of gentle physical scrubbing.
For a lot of people, this product has a pungent fragrance. I totally love the aromatherapeutic effect of this face cleanser. LUSH is renowned by its heavy usage of essential oils and fragrances in their products. I must admit that I'm a big sucker for those even after acknowledging the risks that acompany these ingredients. I use these products sparingly and always monitor my skin's condition.
After using this product for around 3-4 weeks, I noticed that my skin started to feel more oily. I don't know if this fact was due to the lavender essential oil film residue sitting on my skin or if my skin felt "attacked" and as a result produced more sebum. π€·π»ββοΈ
This product contains several essential oils which are present in large amounts. I do not recommend using this if you have sensitive skin.
Avoid overscrubbing! It's easy to anger your skin by cleansing it everyday with this product! Only use physical exfoliators for 2-3 times a week maximum.
