The texture is rich and thick, like butter, but it melts to the skin easily. You will only need to apply a very little amount. I use it overnight, and SPF is a must during the day as it contains retinol. The skin feels very hydrated, smooth and nourished. It has a slight cooling effect upon application. I have definitely noticed a difference in the darkness of my under eyes.
