I would only use this as my first toner to boost for the next products. However, with its watery texture it makes me wanna apply over and over. With its signature ingredients, Centella Asiatice Extract plus with Niacinimide & Madecassoside. It claims to soothes, hydrates & brighthen the skin. It does it job on soothing & hydrating. But for drier skin, I would recommend to use this as your first toner only by following up with more richer toner. I have oily dehydrated skin therefore I would add few layers and another toner. I dont expect to see much brigthening result from a toner especially this one. The refreshing effect is quite similar with Isntree Green Tea fresh toner but with different ingredients. I like using this for skin prep before makeup. However, I notice that it takes a little time to fully absorp on my skin but it does not give any slick sensation on my face, it just gives that wet feeling which I kind of like it and enjoy my routine. Basically, this is a good soothing toner for me and for those that want to target redness or mild hydration during the day. To say that it necessarily to be paired with the capsule ampoule, I would say NO, not necessarily. It works well with other serum/ampoule. Packaging is very minimal and standard as usual toner it is. Great for DIY sheet mask and calming my under nose redness. Having redness around the nose and upper lip is very common for me as I shave my face daily. Therefore this helps as a after shave too. I am glad that I bought this to try together with the ampoule. Definitely worth trying. I cant wait to test more soothing toner like this in future.
