It's spreadable but tugs a bit and doesn't get absorbed easily. This sunscreen doesn't have a whitecast but it has that tone up effect and has a sheen on my skin that sets into a natural finish after some time. It appears ashy upon application on indoor lighting but not that noticeable outside and on natural light. After setting and waiting a couple of minutes, only the slight tone up effect remains. I find it easier if I just add little at a time because it's hard to blend and I get clumps of white on my lids and the sides of my nose.
