Pores Target Serum
Been using it for nearly a year now and it's great. Not irritating and contains PHAs which is a bonus. I use it twice a week and have seen a big difference in reduced whiteheads and pores.
The consistency of the product is good, not too liquidy and absorbs quickly, so it can be used in the morning but I would not recommend it because it can pill with some other products.
The bottle is dark which is nice to limit sun exposure so it doesn't go bad prematurely.
It says 6% BHA+PHA but doesn't specify how much salicylic acid is in there exactly which is annoying. Also instructions daily use which I have tried, it didn't really cause disastrous results but I'd definitely recommend using it thrice a week at most.
Unfortunately I've tried using a moisturizer and an oil on top of it (seperate occasions) but the oil caused piling and the moisturizer caused stinging? I'm not sure if it's the specific products used or the serum itself but when paired with the CeraVe moisturizing cream my skin started burning a little so I washed it off and just used the serum on its own from then on. It's not a big bother to me since I'm more comfortable using actives separately anyways.
(Edit: I've tried another moisturizer on top and no stinging happened, I think it's either the CeraVe moisturizer itself or that I didn't wait before the serum dried before applying the moisturizer)
Also it's got fragrance, and it is quite strong but that hasn't bothered me.
(Not very relevant but previously I bought the BHA serum without the added PHA and it was great as well but I'd suggest paying attention to the expiration date / PAO date because it does go bad right then and there. The smell was the biggest indicator so I'd keep an eye on that when 12 months pass.)
