All in all, I fully appreciate the tube packaging. It’s easy to dispense and more hygienic than a jar. I was initially underwhelmed by the appearance of the cream itself. For something that’s supposed to provide “intense hydration for Dry Parched Skin”, the consistency sure is light. What comes out of the tube is a slightly runny, pearlescent white liquidy cream that can almost be mistaken for a foaming facial wash and smells a little bit like plain castile soap. But then you slather it on and it has a silky coated feeling on the skin that is neither uncomfortably thick nor sticky on the pillowcase. The finish on the skin is satin. Nothing too shiny. The next morning, the formula has been fully absorbed by my skin leaving behind no traces of oiliness. Still satiny. My face feels sufficiently hydrated. From first use, I did not experience any negative reactions.
