Mela C Formula Ampoule
✨The Mela C ampoule is for hyperpigmentation, which claims that its key ingredient, ellagic acid (derived from pomegranate) has 5 times higher whitening and brightening result than albutine as it minimizes the action of the tyrosinase for melanin production. These effects are boosted by the skin complex formula, which claims antiaging and moisturizing benefits.
✨I emptied the contents of the ampoule into the bigger skin complex bottle and shook to blend. The liquid took on the golden color of the ampoule and the scent reminds me a bit of candy, but the mist is quite fine so it’s not overpowering, and dries down quickly with no stickiness, with a soft, smooth skinfeel afterwards.
✨ This was slotted in both my am and pm routines. I have vitamin c in the morning and chemical exfoliators and retinol slotted in my evening routine but this hasn’t caused any conflicts. I was dealing with the remnants of a bad breakout so I didn’t have the patience to isolate this as a brightening product, but my hyperpigmentation has improved remarkably in less than a month, and I think this helps boost the brightening properties of all my other products.
Quite pricey, I think there are products that offer the same benefits at much lower price points
