🌸INNISFREE RETINOL CICA -👉REVIEW
Retinol Cica Moisture Recovery Serum
This product was gifted to me by topbox and innisfree,to try for free in exchange for my honest review.
The 30mL glass bottle shaped to comfortably hold and with a twist pump to lock, but also with a cap to go over the pump to avoid unnecessary pumping.
I have been very hesitant in trying out retinol products. As a first time user on retinol,am glad it is by innisfree as I have always enjoyed most of there product line, very gentle and effective to my sensitive/combination skin, infused with soothing and hydrating ingredients.
Experience
The first day of using the product was slightly itchy on my dry skin with red bumbs and that got me worried for a second and expected would happen.Through research and discussions with other content creators, even with 0.015% of retinol,it is still good to introduce this serum slowly.
With continous use,I decided to go with the sandwich method to see if it would work better. After cleansing, toner, moisturizer,I applied Retinol and light Moisturizer and SPF,and worked very well on my face with no itchyness or irritation of any kind.It even gave me a very beautiful glow.Am sure as it gets used to my skin,I can easily be using it even on my dry skin, but with my sensitivity,I should start slow and give myself time to be able to adjust and use it daily.
Due to its unique formula, this product seems to be suitable for daily use, both morning or night layering with spf during the day.I never noticed any fragrance and the texture is a watery, light milky color that looks clear on skin.My skin feels smooth and very soft, absorbed very quickly with no sticky feeling, tightness or any irritation of any kind on my skin.I have not seen major results on my face yet, since have just been using this less than two weeks and am sure with time of use,I probably will,as I noticed a beautiful glow in only few days.Anyone interested in trying out Retinol, this serum is very beginner friendly, soothing and moisturizing, not too strong as everyone claims in retinol products, but moisturizing facial serum.

📍Gifted
📍Nothing bad to comment on this product.Starting slow on Retinol would be a good idea, especially for beginners.
