Vegan Collagen Firming Ampoule
I received these products for free from Picky and Suiskin in exchange for my honest review.
For those who may not know, I’m someone who strives to make accessible beauty content for disabled shoppers (my videos are captioned and I transcribe things for people who are low vision and still want to learn about products and brands). So you have no idea how excited I was to see the braille on the serum box! Sadly though it wasn’t on both products, and I think if a brand is wanting to be inclusive, all their products should need to be, not just one. I did contact the brand through their website and they said currently only the serum has the braille. Hopefully if there’s enough feedback from us, they will expand it so their entire line is inclusive.
Onto the product info! This was a super light weight serum. It didn’t feel heavy or sticky at all once it had dried on my skin after application. It did not have an overpowering scent at all if you’re someone like me who dislikes heavily fragranced skincare. Key ingredients are of course the vegan collagen, and moisturizing ingredients: glycerin, ceramide, and panthenol. Lastly it includes centella asiatica which a lot of us also know as cica to help combat post acne hyperpigmentation. Of the two products that I got from the brand, I definitely enjoyed this one the most.
The main reason why I took a star off of this review was the fact that when used with the brand’s moisturizer, I had a reaction, and my skin got irritated and blotchy with raised skin. I had to wash it off. However when I used them separate, I didn’t have the same issue. I also found that even though this has great moisturizing ingredients, this wasn’t as moisturizing as some of my other favorite ampoules.
