Spot Saver Mugwort Powder Wash
β
This cleanser is suitable for all skin types. Papaya extract, Korean Mugwort leaf powder and Dead Sea salt work together to remove dead skin cells, keratin waste and residue from pores. It is a weak acid cleanser that protects skin barrier even after cleansing.
β
The texture is white but you can notice mugwort leaf dark powder. It is very much reminds me of laundry powder .
β
The product comes in individually packaged pouches (25pc) which are quite easy to open. They are very light weight which is ideal for traveling, and there is no fear of mess. The pouches are recyclable but to be honest, I am concerned about environmental waste since they are small and not everyone will be bothered to put them in recycling bin.π
β
When you first use it, it seems like there is too much powder in a pouch but when mixed with water, the amount is just right. It turns into bubbly foam and is very easy to apply on face. It feels quite nice on skin, pretty much works like soap but is non irritating or drying. However it leaves yucky taste in the mouth so it's essential too keep it closed π
β
I have used this cleanser both with cleansing oil/balm and without them. Both ways it works amazing. It makes skin so clean and polished like after very good exfoliation. My face looks like baby bum, soft and plump ππ
β
To sum up, I don't like this powder at sensory level, I am still pretty much gel type texture lover, and I don't like the taste it leaves. I'd also prefer it to be in more eco friendly packaging.
β
But apart from that, I am seriously impressed with the great result. I would definitely stick with it during traveling.
β
Not to forget to mention that the product is cruelty free and wasn't tasted on animals.
Not eco friendly because of packaging
