It is easy to open, there is a little cut at the top and you pull it and the side opens easily. The strip is attached to a clear piece of plastic, which you remove the strip from. You carefully place the strip, shiny side down onto your freshly cleansed damp nose and wait 10 minutes. Such an easy process. It isn't annoying or irritating to wear. When the 10 minutes is over, carefully remove the strip. This is easy to do, with minimal discomfort. It does pull somewhat, but it doesn't hurt. I could see all of the blackheads that had been removed from my nose on the strip. My nose was so soft to touch and looked really clear after using.
