Rosy
I received this product for free from Picky and Primera in exchange for my honest review.
I’m someone who usually prefers pigmented options over clear glosses, so I definitely preferred how this subtle pink looked compared to the clear option. But a cute color option isn’t usually enough to get a five star rating out of me. This was a more tacky/thick feeling lip product. I was expecting a lip serum to be smoother and have more skincare ingredients in it besides the retinol. There were multiple oils used in the formula, so again I thought this would be more of a lip oil texture (so more lightweight), but it wasn’t.
This was my first time using a retinol product for my lips, and it is meant to be used every 2-3 days if you have sensitive skin like me, until your skin becomes accustomed to you using this product, then you can eventually use it daily as a plumping product (continued use it meant to result in fuller looking lips over time). This is your reminder that you need to also pair this with a lippie with SPF in your routine, because lips can get sun burned just like the rest of your skin! Did I see plumper lips while using this? I don’t think so. This felt like an average lip product in my opinion.
My biggest complaint was the fact that the wand on this one felt like it was going to break at any moment. When I was trying to apply it to my lips, the applicator wobbled. I was worried it would fall off in the middle of my filming the review. Luckily, it didn’t. But I can’t help but wonder if others also had this was because of the wand shape. I also had issues with the being too tight of an opening, you can to really pull to get the wand out of the tube on mine (so a sizing issue maybe), which didn’t help with the wobbly feeling wand in my opinion.
It has a stronger floral scent than I usually prefer my lip products to have as well which was another reason I removed a star. I also felt like the texture was overly sticky, and I also felt like this could have had a bigger applicator. You definitely have to dip back into the tube at least one more time to properly coat both your upper and lower lips evenly.

I did state in my review that you can use this daily once your skin is used to it. Just be sure to also use SPF for your lips if you do, since retinol makes your skin more prone to sun burns.

But you can’t use this daily if you want to?
