Sun Fluid Pigment Control SPF 50+
This brand has been a constant favourite for sunscreen for years my rotation. This one is my favourite for my own skincare needs.
This non-comedogenic chemical sunfluid is for people prone to hyperpigmentation caused by the sun and anyone who already has pre - existing dark marks.
Three of the featured ingredients are
Licochalcone A
▶️An antioxidant and anti-inflammatory active that reduces redness and soothes reddened skin.
Glycyrrhetinic Acid
▶️An antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties that supports skin’s own DNA repair mechanism. Studies shown to repaired skin cells that have been damaged by UV-radiation.
Thiamidol
▶️A patented ingredient Eucerin spent 10 years developing. It works on the root cause of hyperpigmentation to reduce dark spots and prevent re-appearance.
LOVE the texture of this - a light lotion texture with a slight yellow colour.
I LOVED the smell of this! A musky scent at first and then a wave of other various light muskier floral notes. It absorbs quickly into the face, neck, décolleté and hands.
This formula can replace your moisturiser with antioxidants, emollients, vitamin E and brightening ingredients.
Thiadol for me has work to reduce the appearance of dark spots and prevent their re-appearance in the warmer UK months.
⚠️Contains parfum and alcohol denat. This claims to be dermatologically proven to be well tolerated, even by sensitive skin but contains parfum.
However I don't feel comfortable saying this.Eucerin has a massive range of sun products using Eucerin’s Advanced Spectral Technology and HEVIS light defense including a sensitive range for which contains NO parfum so why would you use this?
Some people aren’t fans of alcohol denat. Despite being high on the list this is extremely moisturising because of the amount of emollients - alcohol doesn’t mean drying.
This claims to be suitable under make-up. I actually think that this is suitable under lighter foundation. If you wear moisturiser AND a primer it's too much and can cause piling. I prefer to use a lighter water sunscreen such fuller makeup.
