this has a gel-like texture that is lightweight and easily absorbed. i had a terrible breakout before that didnt seem to want to heal, but this serum plus a hyaluronic acid serum took care of it in less than a month. this contains malic acid (aha) as the star ingredient. my experience with this serum started my love for aha. this helped heal that terrible breakout and made my skin look and feel smooth.
