I recently saw a video on IG where someone posted to wash our face with cleanser, applying required amount of cleanser and massage 1st without adding any water and then gradually adding water to it to foam.
I tried this hack and my oily acne-prone skin does like it .
What do u guys think about this routine??
Like an oil cleanser? I guess that could work with gel cleansers but none of the ones I'm currently using is very spreadable until I foam them. 😆 But if it works better for you that's great. 😉 On the other hand, they're formulated to be emulsified by water first before applying on the face, so be careful not to irritate your face by rubbing the unfoamed cleanser too much. 🙂
oh no my skin hates it because it pulls my skin a lot and I'd need more product... i like to use a small amount and make it foam a lot on my hand first, and rinse very quickly. i think there'd be a lot of friction without any water added
I heard from a dermatologist on YouTube that it helps with the moisture of the skin. Some say it cleanses better, since you’re not dilluting the cleanser with water. I’ve personally tried and haven’t seen any big differences, but still do it sometimes 😅
