I've never heard of this. But I have something on my back that looks kind of similar to this?🤨-(I just always thought it was a mole, cause I have a few, but the one on my back has gotten a little bigger as I've gotten older). I too, tanned "more than I should have" growing up (very early 90s). I live in Florida in the US, and tanning was popular, sunscreen wasn't, nobody was talking about the damage that the suns UV rays can in fact cause and hardly anybody wore sunscreen but instead tanned- even with baby oil or other tanning oils ..(terrible, I know!)🥴 I wonder if this is what's on my back?🤔 I've never seen a dermatologist about it although I know I should. I just don't have insurance right now and dermatologist visits are quite expensive here. Anyway, Thank you so much for sharing this! Id love to hear what others have to say about this as well.
Id also like to add that I'm so glad that people now know the importance of sunscreen💜. I wish we knew about it more growing up in my time era. Thankfully though I never allowed my face to tan, I did wear sunscreen on my face or cover my face with a folded up towel while tanning at the pool or beach but not cause of protection of sun damage but because I didn't like my face naturally tan🤦🏻♀️ I'm very grateful that my skin overall looks as good as it does, some others aren't as fortunate and start to late when the damage is already showing or bad 😔

I think you just solved a facial mystery for me!!! It’s hard to get a good a photo of it but I’ve had this little bump near my 11s for a while now and it doesn’t respond to any skincare and isn’t getting bigger or smaller. I have a dermatologist appointment scheduled in July and I’m going to ask for confirmation it’s sebaceous hyperplasia. I’m 43 and I never tanned but I also didn’t get serious about spf until a few years ago. Thanks so much for sharing!
