Hourglass Cosmetics - Simplyinskincare review for Equilibrium Restoring Essence

I was interested to see the makeup brand, Hourglass, is breaking into the skincare game. Usually when makeup brands do this they start with a primer and then expand from there. Most of the time when you see brands make this leap, they aren’t always successful, so I jumped into testing this out without much excitement. For an essence, I look for one that gives you an intense long lasting level of hydration. Essences will also help the preparation of your skin for the serum(s) you’ll use after but that isn’t something that you can always notice. I’ve found this essence give an immediate short term hydration boost. The packaging is nice, very sleek and pretty. Love how its just white and silver.
