The Differin Restorative Night Moisturizer is a dupe for the Cetaphil Redness Relief Night Moisturizer and the Dr Sam’s Flawless Moisturizer. I’ve been dealing with some redness and irritation so I wanted to give this a try. The pump takes a while to initially use, about 15/20 pumps before product first dispenses. I almost thought it was defective. It’s consistency is thicker than a lotion but lighter than a cream. So it’s not thick and creamy but it’s not lightweight either. It felt very nice going onto the skin, sunk in well and played well with my other skincare products (AKA no pulling). I noticed an ever so slight reduction in redness along my cheeks. It leaves my Combo- dehydrated skin with a light dewy/natural finish. Not at all greasy in any way. It’s definitely a nighttime moisturizer for me, too much for day time. Although the product is fragrance free it has a old school moisturizer scent that reminds me of my mama’s ponds moisturizer from back in the day.
