☀️ I have been testing the @aprilskin_global Calendula 10% PHA+AHA Resurfacing Serum for almost a month now. I kept putting off this review because honestly.. I didn’t see any noticeable changes in my skin. ☀️ CLAIMS ☀️ - Resurfacing - Pore Shrinking - Illuminating ☀️ PACKAGING ☀️ - LOVE the yellow. More companies should make yellow products - The coolest twist up pump cap. I really love this choice for dispensing product ☀️ MAIN INGREDIENTS ☀️ - 10% PHA & AHA (gentle chemical exfoliation) - Calendula extract (soothing and protecting) ☀️ TEXTURE AND SCENT ☀️ - Super liquidy, clear product - Soaks in with a bit of tackiness, goes away quickly - Super gentle for my skin (even when sensitized) - The slightest almost herbal scent? Hard to detect honestly ☀️ EXPERIENCE ☀️ Reenee Rates It: 3.5/5- I really wanted to love this one. It is so super gentle for my skin, which is hard to find these days since I’m super sensitized to many chemical exfoliants. I unfortunately did not find this effective in minimizing my pores or smoothing out my skin in any drastic way, even after a month of use. It does gain points in the illuminating claims though, as my skin always looked brighter after application. My skin FEELS softer, but I still see lots of bumps on the surface. So- I’m ultimately torn with this one for now. I might try to bring it back home in the warmer months when my skin normalizes a bit. Please take my review with a grain of salt- as with all products, YMMV and I know this is a beloved product. :)
