I received the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Boosting Toner for free from @go.picky & @skin1004official in exchange for my honest review. The Tone Brightening Boosting Toner, which retails for $20 on the @skin10004official global website. It is a dual functioning toner that helps hydrate & balance skin, as well as brighten & improve skin tone. Natural exfoliating ingredients gently remove dead skin cells, to help absorption of other skin products. Main Ingredients: ▪️90% Centella Asiatica Extract ▪️Niaciniamide ▪️Madecassoside (Made White) ▪️Aquaxyl ▪️Singreen (plum blossom, apple, papaya & grape extract) ▪️3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid ▪️Panthenol Packaging and Texture: Comes in a frosted 210ml plastic bottle with white cap. Toner is a clear, light watery texture and is unscented. My Experience: I’ve been using this toner for about 2 ½ weeks, both AM & PM. You can apply with a cotton pad or with your hands, patting it into the skin until absorbed. My preference is to use my hands, applying 2-3 layers onto my skin and gently patting until it absorbs. Since it has a watery texture with no viscosity, it instantly absorbs into the skin without any stickiness. It has both Niacinamide and 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (a Vitamin C derivative) help to brighten the skin. Singreen gently exfoliates & removes dead skin cells without irritation. Aquaxyl is great for those with dehydrated or dry skin as it provides a nice boost of hydration, holding moisture onto the skin. I personally applied at least 2 layers, as my skin type leans towards dry, especially in the winter months. I noticed that my skin felt soft, smooth & looked more even-toned after using for about 10 days. The toner provides a cooling, soothing effect, and really helped reduce redness. It has a pH of 5.5, which is mildly acidic and close to skin’s natural pH. My skin reacts well to products that are mildly acidic and I did not experience any irritation while using this toner. I would recommend this toner for all skin types, as it has great ingredients and I like the effect it has had so far on my skin, as it feels very refreshed after using the toner. Additionally it works well with other products in my routine. I really enjoyed using this toner, and will continue using to see the brightening effects with longer use.
