Magreviews review for Blackberry Quinoa Protein Blend Shampoo

I've always been a huge fan of Aveeno products as they're more natural, soothing and best of all, they actually work. I was beyond stoked to see them come out with this new line of shampoo and conditioners made with oats to help soothe the scalp while the Blackberry Quinoa Protein Blend Shampoo in particular helps to strengthen the hair and prevent colour fade. The shampoo has a fruity, berry scent which keeps the scent in your hair for long periods of time too. It is a lightweight gel texture with a pearlescent purplish-black colour to it. It lathers up really well and cleans the hair really well making it silky smooth, and keeps it that way in between washes. I've been using this 3 times a week just by itself, as I was just sent the shampoo, and I've been loving it as is. I do however feel that it would be better with the addition of a conditioner as by itself it can be a bit drying. I love that it is free of parabens, sulfates and dyes and helps to protect any colour treated hair, as I've just recently dyed my hair, and I do feel that it helps to maintain the colour without fading it in comparison to my regular shampoo.
