It has similar ingredients as the sun lotion from this line (please read my previous review on the sun lotion if interested) and has the same new generation UV filters excluding Iscotrizinol. Despite the balmy texture, it tugs on the skin initially so I warm it up by holding it on the skin for a few seconds before rubbing which then gives a cooling sensation much like the sunscreen. The scent is the same as the sunscreen and is mild. It’s my first sunstick so I don’t have experience to tell if it performed better or worse than other similar products. But so far, I’m really enjoying it and find it very convenient to reapply. I didn’t get any irritation or discomfort. Overall, I’ve had really good experience so I recommend it to dry and combination skin types as it leaves a dewy finish which may not be comfortable to oily skin or those who don’t prefer dewy finish.
