This is I'm From's first ever cleansing balm, making it a very exciting product. The balm is formulated with 7.8% of fig oil water and effectively removes makeup, dirt, oil, & any leftover residue. Fun fact: Figs contain superior quality antioxidants(anthocyanins, polyphenols, gallic acid) that aids in evening skintone, calms redness, reducing dark spots by inhibiting the production of melanin, and enhances skin's hydration by preventing water loss from skin's upper layers. Upon opening the container, there is a very sweet fruity scent that begins to linger and it is incredibly pleasant and relaxing. The balm itself is more firm in texture than other cleansing balms I have tried, which makes it glide across the skin with ease. At first scoop it has a sherbet consistency and immediately melts onto the skin upon contact, creating a silky smooth oil. It is very hydrating and feels very nice on the skin, leaving behind no residue. This cleanser is effective at removing all traces of makeup, sunscreen, and oil from the skin thanks to its thicker consistency. The best part about this balm? It turns into this incredible creamy consistency & emulsifies upon adding water! Did I mention that I have never had to double cleanse after using this? My skin is left feeling satiny smooth and incredibly moisturized-- not stripping my dry skin whatsoever. The overall experience that this product creates feels very luxurious and quite relaxing, making this a staple in my collection!
