Nudestix - ReneeEgan review for Nudescreen Daily Mineral Veil SPF 30

First and foremost, I believe in full disclosure so we as consumers can make informed decisions and purchases: I received this product in exchange for my honest review (posted on Sephora and buzz feed- one review, two platforms). I have mixed feelings about this as a good product for my self and my needs, I dont wear lipstick lately. Otherwise it definitely extends the longevity of your lipstick, no doubt there. When I first used this I was surprised by the texture and feel of it on my lips. It has a soft focus (almost matte) which I love, and that always helps give lipstick the staying power it needs. But unlike typical lip primer, this was not overly drying. Of course, it does literally dry down but it doesn't suck all the moisture out of my lips throughout the day, like most lip liners and other treatments can. It also had a decent color/shade to the primer; great for those days you want a subtle "no makeup", makeup day (when you want something on your lips but anything else would seem like "too much" for what you want). I was actually really surprised by its hold and staying power… I even forgot I had it and lipstick on and had a pen in my mouth while typing a document and there was very little transfer or smudges (thankfully!). Im not the biggest lipstick wearer lately, so because of that id need to go back to regularly wearing lipstick before I'd buy this for myself. But when I need to prep my lips for long wear lipstick ill be reaching for this. My only draw back with this is the lack of hydration. It doesn't dry my lips out like I said but it doesn't really offer any moisture and I get very dry lips I find. So it does over emphasize dry lips in my opinion but lipstick does that as well. I was lucky enough to receive the Nudestix SPF Lip Primer in exchange for my honest reviewand I was pretty happy with it
