It has fragrance so some people might not like it. I also experienced a bit of stinging on the first week of use. As much as I'm thankful that my skin didn't react badly to this product (no breakouts), I don't think that this was effective on me since I haven't noticed any great improvements especially on my hyperpigmentation. Edit: Sadly, I did breakout when I applied layers of this on my face. I tried to layer this because it felt hydrating but maybe that wasn't a good idea because this contains vitamin c which can possibly cause irritation. Please be cautious on applying too much product.
