Summary: This mask has a lovely, earthy smell and a rich, smooth texture. It's easy to apply and distribute all over the face. It protects the skin over night and seals it in. After washing it off in the morning, my face always feels super soft, like a dolphin. Details: It comes in a glass bottle which I think is sustainable and hygienic. You pour a generous amount on your hand and distribute it well, I like doing it for 40 seconds. The texture is quite thick so you don't lose any product in the process. This mask contains dimethicone (silicone) which I see as a plus because it can act as a moisturising agent as well as help protect the skin. It doesn't contain alcohol which is great. The probiotics and cornflower extract are well researched ingredients that are excellent for the skin. In addition it also contains several forms of hyaluronic acid to support hydration over night. In the morning after washing it off my face feels incredibly soft and not at all irritated. My cheeks are supple and my whole face seems brighter. NIOD is part of the Deciem brand which is vegan and cruelty free.
