The Laneige Time Freeze sleeping mask was easy for me to purchase as it was available at my local Sephora store. It cost me $50 and was definitely on the more expensive side, but I had previously used the Water Sleeping mask (and absolutely love it) so when I heard this one had anti-ageing effects, I was very excited to give it a whirl. My first impression of the mask was the beautiful silver jar, both weighty to hold and lovely to display. It comes in a very generous size (60ml) so will last a long time, as only a small scoop of product is needed to cover the entire face and neck.. What I found most interesting about the product was how it would leave a small dent after scooping, but the next day the dent would be gone. The mask has a similar effect on the face - working very nicely to plump the skin, smooth out fine lines and reduce the appearance of pores. The mask itself has a clean scent and appears white, but applies like a dream; leaving a beautiful matte finish on the skin within 5 minutes. It is non-sticky and not heavy whatsoever, making it suitable for all skin types (particularly my combination skin as it is very moisturising for my dry cheeks). I often use this mask at the end of my routine, layered on top of moisturiser especially on days when my skin is needing extra TLC! It can also take the place of moisturiser, which makes it a very versatile product. I have been using the Time Freeze sleeping mask 2-3 times a week for 3 months and I am very pleased to say that I have noticed a firming and plumping effect on my skin. The fine lines on my forehead are gone and my face is buttery smooth! My overall complexion is improved. The Time Freeze mask is slightly thicker than the Water Sleeping mask by Laneige. If you are after a product that has both anti-ageing, moisturising, plumping and smoothing effects - this one is it!
