I’ve tried 2 Niacinamide 10% serums which didn’t help my skin. NOT A SINGLE BIT 🌚 Finished 2 bottles of each and felt like I just wasted my time and energy

I then decided to try a lower percentage one, 2% Niacinamide mask. GUESS WHAT? I saw instant changes. 🤩

🟢CONCLUSION🟢

- If higher percentage products don’t do anything for your skin, opt for a lower percentage one. Usually, the reason why it didn’t work is because your skin actually don’t need such high % products. 

▶️ Sometimes, all you need is something small, mild and basic to see visible changes 🥰

What if 10% Niacinamide didn’t work?

🪐 Slugging once a week at least
🪐 Use a humidifier 
🪐 Sandwich method when using Retinol because it causes extra dryness 
🪐 Pat dry face instead of rubbing with towel after cleansing
🪐 Shea butter (emollient) and Urea (humectant) is great for hydration 
🪐 Hydrating toner is highly recommended (if possible don't skip)
🪐 DRINK WATER! LOTS OF WATER! HYDRATE YOURSELF!

❌ Long baths & washing face too often
❌ Using product containing high % of alcohol
❌ Skipping moisturizer 
❌ Mattifying products 
❌ Washing face using hot water
❌ Clay masks since it's meant to absorb excess oil
❌ Foaming cleansers

📌 These are based on my personal experience, so it might or might not work for you. Of course, if you're allergic to these ingredients recommended, then you should avoid. 

📌 Slowly, my dry skin is healing 😇 These tips helped me a lot, so I just wanted to share. My fav tip is to use toner twice a day, IT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ME.

Lately, I've been seeing so many questions asking how to treat dark spots. The question is repeating, so let me help you.

▶️ Ingredients to look for in a product:

• Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
• Retinol 
• Alpha Arbutin
• Tranexamic Acid
• Kojic Acid
• Niacinamide 
• Lactic Acid
• Glycolic Acid 
• Azelaic Acid

▶️ Go through the ingredient list and look for these specific ingredients. They are targeted to treat dark spots. Don't expect to see changes in 1 or 2 weeks. It might take months for you to see the effect of the product.

▶️ Note: Not all skin type can tolerate these so always remember to start slow and patch test first.

▶️ I personally saw significant improvement when I started using Ascorbic Acid. I started off with a 15% Ascorbic Acid and then slowly increased to 22%.

▶️ Once your skin is used to the ingredients and you don't see any bad reactions, you may consider leveling up the concentration.

- I have dry skin &#47;&#47; PIH &#47;&#47; and have no serious acne issue. I use this in my PM routine. Firstly, I&#39;m so glad this serum doesn&#39;t leave a sticky finish on my face. It really feels hydrating. I use 2 pumps each day. The texture is what I like the most about this product.

- This serum makes my skin feel super soft and supple all the time. The hydration effect is 💯. A must buy for all my dry skin friend out there! I honestly didn&#39;t see lightening on the dark spots. However, my skin somehow feels and looks extra clear whenever I use this. It&#39;s almost to flawless hehe, but of course not the real FLAWLESS. 

- People who have irritated skin can use this serum to help calm and soothe the effect. I personally don&#39;t have redness&#47;irritation&#47;sensitive skin so I can&#39;t say much how they can specifically help those issues. But I noticed my skin barrier is definitely a lot more better! I don&#39;t get much acne these days. I usually get hormonal acne, now I don&#39;t even see them on my face, PHEW! Anti acne claim was REAL!

💌 My thoughts 
- My first time using higher Vit C concentration, and I like the texture of this as it could absorb really fast. It didn&#39;t sting or irritate my skin at all. I use this in my AM routine together with Vit E mask to boost the effect. It didn&#39;t feel sticky on my skin. I used it for 2 weeks already, and I think I saw improvement in my skin tone. I have dull skin, now my skin looks less dull, and my skin tone is a little bit lighter too. So glad to see fast changes

Nothing bad to say, the cream just suit with my skin so well.

🌛 My thoughts
- First of all, I have dry skin. I&#39;ve used this cream for 2 weeks already as a moisturizer during my PM routine. First impression, the ingredient list looks hella amazing 😍 The amount of benefits it could plant in your skin is HUGEEE!🔥

- Next, I wanna talk about the most unique thing, their texture. It&#39;s a rich cream, but once applied on the skin it just melts so beautifully right away leaving a non greasy finish. I was worried as the rich cream texture would make me feel heavy but it surprisingly blended in so well and it felt just nice.🥰

- Effect wise, this cream really provided the best amount of hydration to my skin. I woke up the next day with softer and supple skin. My skin wasn&#39;t dry after sleeping the whole night with AC. And of course, my skin was glowing and it looked so natural. 

- I haven&#39;t seen any brightening or better skin barrier effect yet. However, this has literally been my dry skin saviour lately and I&#39;m so glad to be given the chance to try this cream.

💌 My thoughts 
- This serum is just moderate for me. It didn&#39;t sting or irritate, also it wasn&#39;t sticky. To talk about hydration, it wasn&#39;t as hydrating as I expected, it was just mild hydrating. I suggest not using this cream for hydrating purposes. I didn&#39;t see much improvement on my skin too. I really liked the capsule in serum concept, very unique, and wasn&#39;t harsh. However, this this serum didn&#39;t do much to me. I probably need to use it for a longer time. I&#39;ll definitely update if there&#39;s changes. I&#39;m hoping to see a brightening effect later in the future because of the ingredient licorice.

It gets quite greasy at times. Nothing else negative about this product.

🍀Centella Unscented Recovery Cream

🌴Key Ingredients 
- Centella Asiatica Extract {humectant}
- Niacinamide {brightening}
- Squalane 
- Macadamia Seed Oil {emollient}

🌴Texture
- This cream has a really thick and rich texture, white in colour and the absorption level is around 60% . It gives slightly a greasy finish

🌴Fragrance 
- This cream has zero scent so it&#39;s a plus point for people who can&#39;t stand fragrance in skincare 

🌴Price
RM 71 ~ Quite pricey for me but is definitely worth a try for the product regardless of the price 

🌴Recommended for 
- I recommend this for people who have redness, blemishes, irritated skin, normal to dry skin and sensitive skin. I wouldn&#39;t recommend this to people with oily skin as it&#39;s extremely hydrating, but no harm trying 

🌴My thoughts
- I have dry skin, dullness and hyperpigmentation issues. As far as I&#39;ve used this product, I think this cream is really hydrating. Being very rich in texture, it really provides hydration, but sometimes it gets a little greasy. Blends well but takes some time to absorb to the skin. 

- I use this mostly in PM routine because I don&#39;t mind applying products which could make my face look greasy at night because the AC will kinda dry it out. It works perfect as a moisturizer but due to it&#39;s heaviness, I don&#39;t recommend using it during AM. 

- In terms of result, I&#39;ve seen my skin texture improving a little bit. I don&#39;t have redness or blemishes problem so I don&#39;t know how good this product is in helping to reduce it. I believe Centella will do it&#39;s job. I somehow felt a little bit of heat when applying this cream which I believe is the Squalane, but it subsided very quickly so that isn&#39;t a big matter

- I don&#39;t find this cream helping solve my main concerns and at the same time I definitely have nothing bad to say about this cream other than it being greasy at times. It did help provide hydration as well as improve skin texture a little
