I first spotted this petal-pink tube while watching k-dramas and it was known as the “Kim Go Eun balm”.

👍🏻 Provides a nice glow with a single swipe and can be used as a primer for makeup to last longer
👍🏻 Doubles as a lip balm and helps form a moisture barrier
👍🏻 Great for people who lead busy lives and do not have time to properly take care of their skin

What I Love Less:

👍🏻 Feels light on my skin and not sticky or greasy at all
👍🏻 Delivers a punch of hydration and does not irritate sensitive skin
👍🏻 Beautiful pastel-blue tone which is a pure color of malachite

What I love Less:
👀 The shelf life after opening the product is only 6 months given that it is made with natural ingredients
👀 The mist gets more oily towards the end
👀 Fruit oil/citrusy fragrance may be irritating for sensitive skin

When time is running out, my skinimalist routine can be as simple as mist and sunscreen.

What I Love:
👍🏻 Checks all boxes for a multi-purpose product that covers toner/mist/serum steps in one and can be used at any order of skincare routine (I use it right after washing my face and as a setting spray)
👍🏻 The biphasic mist consists of an oil layer and water layer that mix and spray finely from a nozzle which dispenses consistently
👍🏻 Lightweight yet seals in the hydration and is suitable for all year round including summer
👍🏻 A gentle moisturizer that leaves my skin feeling fresh and supple and the organic formula is great for healing eczema
👍🏻 Quickly absorbs into my skin without it feeling greasy and does not feel heavy at all

What I love Less:
👀 Short period after opening (PAO) of 2 months so I need to use it diligently
👀 The sheet mask dries fairly quickly towards the end even though the recommended application time is 10-15 minutes
👀 The mini tweezers are pretty flimsy and it is challenging to pull out a sheet
👀 Caution on fragrance for sensitive skin but the herbal scent fades away

𝕍𝕋 Cica Daily Soothing Mask

I like the concept of a box packaging which is great for storage and convenient to reach out to instead of the usual individual masks that come in a plastic-foil pouch.

What I Love:

👍🏻 Each mask holds a good amount of the essence so less of a dripping mess and it is not slippery to the touch
👍🏻 Feels comfortable on my skin and does not leave a tacky feeling after all the essence dry out

What I Love Less:
👀 Chamomile oil and pine oil may trigger allergies
👀 Great when skin barrier is healthy but stings when compromised/sensitized
👀 Slightly pricey for a small tube especially I am using up so quickly
