Hi everyone! I just wanted to share the improvements that I am seeing in my skin, thank’s to the help of picky and the people in here. I hope that with this I can inspire others who are losing patience and faith in their skin care routine. 

In just a span of a month and half I have seen changes in my skin, and I am delighted with it. It really pays to know what your skin needs and with the help of picky we can filter and choose the correct skin care product that would address the needs of our skin. 

It was not an easy journey to begin with. It was rather a series of trial and error before I landed on a good skin care routine that suits my skin because I focus more on what’s hype rather than on what my skin needs, and this resulted to my skin barrier being compromised. But now, I am better, I know better. 

So my advice to everyone is to have faith and patience, good results will soon be with you and don’t ever forget to listen to your skin. 

Here’s my before and after and also a frontal bare-faced present picture of my skin. I know it is still far from perfect and really far from my korean glass skin goal, but hey, slow progress is still progress right?

I need to buy a new one since i’m out of moisturizer and can’t repurchase the old product that i’m using because it is out of stock everywhere and no date as to the next restock or if the company will continue on producing it.

I can’t stand the strong chemical scent that it gives off, it lasts even after you put it in your face. It also has a very minimal whitecast, I think because i’m fair skinned almost tan and this is formulated in accordance with Korean skin tone.

Skin1004 has been very gentle and my skin loves it

When I received this product, I immediately open it. It gives off a strong chemical smell. The smell goes away 30 mins. or so after application (yes, its that strong) 

I have a combination - oily skin type, and I used this together with the Skin1004 Centella Soothing Cream and they layer quite good. 

Given that this is a matte sunscreen, it is somewhat harder to blend in your skin compared to other products and I find it heavy with a sticky feeling (i think I shouldn’t have put on a moisturizer before using this). Although there is a white cast, it is close to none. 

ℝ𝕖𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟:
This sunscreen would be best for those with combination&#47;dry skin. This might be too heavy on those with super oily skin type.

I think i’ll pass. Don’t get me wrong, I love Skin1004, in fact i’m currently using their hyalu-cica line in combination with the centella line but this sunscreen is not for me.

Nothing bad about the product. Some may find it a little bit on the pricey side, but for me it was very worth it and great specially to those with eczema like me

This is another holy grail toner for me! I bought this mainly for one reason and one reason only, because of centella. 

When I bought this, i just recently got out from the hospital, so my skin was really dry and problematic (eczema + irritations) since I was not able to maintain my skincare routine during my time there. I was really hoping that this could calm my eczema and hydrate my skin but what I did not expect is how fast it did its job. Like dude, no kidding, after a day and a half, my eczema calmed down. I applied it several times (3-4 times a day on the whole face and 5-7 times on my eczema or every time it feels itchy) during that said timeframe. This may sound to good to be true but, that’s what really happened, I was also shocked, I even talked about this product to my friends because I was really amazed by the result.

Definitely! I really love centella, and it really calms and soothes my skin whenever it feels irritated (I wish it could do the same to a broken heart 🤣)

I first used this as a gel cream on my whole face. I really enjoyed using this in the morning, its lightweight and sinks into the skin instantly. I like that this provides the hydration that my skin needs without the sticky feeling, but this would really be too light for those with extremely dry skin. It also really helped calm my pimples by making it less sensitive to touch (don’t get this wrong, its still there just not swolen anymore) but before I even reach my second week of using this, my skin barrier was compromised (❗️NOT BECAUSE OF THIS PRODUCT❗️) so I had to stop using this because I noticed that this really stings on my skin when I had a compromised skin barrier, and the sting is really too much for me to handle.

However, I haven’t used this long enough to notice any brightening effect to my skin. But I’ll be happy to update this review, when I do. 

On a final note, if you are sensitive to essential oils, you should avoid this as it contains Bergamot oil.

Well, firstly, i’m not perfect, but this product is!!!

While using this at night (of course, its a sleeping mask after all 😂) I am excited to wake up every morning because of how smooth this made my skin feel (i paired this with the vita b5 toner and the HA plumping serum from Tiam) With my school work load, I usually just get around 2-4 hours of sleep which usually causes my skin to get drier, but with this, no kidding, it made my skin stay hydrated, and most of my dry patches, gone. Irritations have subside while using this and I also noticed that my skin gets sensitized lesser times too!

In terms of application, I noticed that this lives up to the “a little goes a long way” notion. Although this is a slime-like cream, this leaves my hands a little bit oily, but I don’t mind.

This product is really worth the hype. It was not a drastic result tho, you have to use it consistently. And in my case, I used it both in my AM and PM routine. This really brightens my skin and fades my acne marks, tho not totally, but still, it lightens my marks. 


However, on my first week, my eczema flared up, then I gave it another try by slowly introducing it since its my first time incorporating 5% niacinamide to my skin care routine. Fair enough, on my second try, luckily, it did not trigger my eczema, hence I used it religiously since then.
