Hi guys! I’ve been a Cica user almost 5mos ago. I wonder what skincare routine should I alternately use to achieve at least a healthy glowing skin? Even tho it wouldn’t give a perfectly smooth skin but at least it won’t dull away the glow of it.

Btw, I am 39 years old, a combo/sensitive skin, textured skin (due to my previous breakouts history), occassional acne occurs on my face (during my monthly period only). Unfortunately, some with rice ingredients and tea tree causes an itchy reaction on my skin.

I will highly appreciate all your suggestions.

My thoughts:

My skin is loving this product! Yes, you heard it right! Even though I’m just using it for awhile, I really got an immediate effect from using it everyday.

While this soothing pad gives an enough moisture on the face it also gives a healthy looking skin that leaves a glowy effect (literally)! You can also use it down your neck, and you can even wipe it on your elbows & knees.) Very useful enough! 😉

This product works well on my skin smoothly without experiencing any irritation. The pear soothing pads turns out to be my skins best friend!

Nothing bad about this product. Previously, I stated that stearic acids may cause irritations for sensitive skin type. Since this product contains stearic acid, my skin somewhat did not react nor flared up an irritations to my skin. Maybe they put lesser amount out of it.

A mild mineral sunscreen with an SPF50+ PA++++. It contains 5d complex hyaluronic acid that will keep the skin hydrated from inside out, and trehalose to prevent the skin from dryness.

Other notable ingredients are the Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. This ingredients has the broadest range of skin protection against UVB and UVA. Also, a non-irritating ingredient safe to use by most sensitive skin.

𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: No distinguishing smell. It has a rich white creamy texture, but lightweight, overall it glides smoothly on the skin.

𝐌𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞/𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬:
When I tried it first on my skin it gave lot of whitecast, instead, you need to spread it evenly so the whitish texture would eventually fade. I applied it little at a time because I was skeptical that it will leave an oily film on my skin. However, the cream dries down to a semi-matte finish (on mine) less the tacky feeling. I also tested it the whole day and tried to re-apply after every 3 hours using the same (my) method of application. Although the creamy type irks me, I did not experience any skin irritations while using it. Furthermore it made my skin glowy without a trace of oiliness in the surface.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭:
The whitecast that becomes blue green once fully spread on your skin is an ingredient coming from the Malachite extract. Hence, as per explained in the research, when combined with potent fruit extracts they can smooth, clarify, detoxify, and calm skin that uncloggs pores so that the skin appears visibly brighter and more luminous.

𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝: Yes. I will recommend this for oily and senstitive skin types. It’s a little bit drying for dry skin type, instead, prep your skin with any hydrating product before applying this suncream.

🌾 𝑴𝒐𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒓 (250ml)

~ The Vegan Rice Milk is a mild “botanical rice milk” with an ingredient of Sandui Rice from Jeju Island, completed the grinding and milking process, this maintains the moisture retention of the skin. Together with the vegan rice milk, the aqua ceramide helps stabilize alkalized skin with low-pH 5.5 as well as calm down sensitive skin from its first step of skincare.

What I love about this toner was the  texture. It was watery but slightly viscous. This is a bit sticky when dispense out of the bottle but my skin absorbs it quickly. Although I have an oily skin, there’s no tacky feeling afterwards. Best part, I can use this toner every morning without worrying to feel oily in a humid day.

I did not experience any irritations while using this serum. Therefore, I cannot state a bad components about this product.

Face serums contains a higher concentration and active moisturizing ingredients, thinner than a moisturizer thus it has the ability to be absorb first by our skin. One good example was the 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗘- 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗺, known to be the 3-second serum because it delivers instant hydration and it has fast absorption properties.

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
•5D Hyaluronic Acid - it has 5 types of high-medium-low hyaluronic acid that quickly moisturize skin from within.
•D-Panthenol (Provitamin-B5) - good for soothing irritated skin, improve skin texture, and can keep the skin hydrated.
•Malachite Extract - a pastel blue, the pure color of malachite when combined with other potent fruit extracts it clarify, detoxify, and calm skin. It uncloggs pores so the skin appears visibly brighter and more luminous.

𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: Like a refreshing smell but not bothering. A thick watery gel with a little viscosity.

𝐌𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞/𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬:
Although I do not really use serums (on a daily basis) with high concentration of ingredients, the Dive-In serum was an exception! This serum was in harmony with my oily skin (dehydrated) that it quenches and hydrates it unto the next level. It’s also hypoallergenic and I did not experience any adverse reaction while using this serum. It only takes 3-seconds of this product to dive-in and be fully absorb that’s why you need to pat thoroughly as quickly as possible. In my 2 weeks (beyond) use of this serum, my skin looks more plump and alive! It becomes smoother w/ minimal visible pores. It’s one of the most hydrating yet very lightweight and non-sticky serum I have tried. This serum has become a favorite of mine and it will always be part of my skin essentials.

𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫: All Skin types, specially dry skin, and oily-dehydrated skin will enjoy using this serum since it’s hypoallergenic, non-oily & non-greasy.

𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: 𝟓/𝟓 ⭐️s


The only thing that I don’t like about this toner is the smell. It has fragrance included in their ingredients.

𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝟓 + 𝐁𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫
-A skin hydrators packed with Vitamin B5, excellent in moisturizing and soothing effect, plus the Bifida fermented lysate deeply hydrates and helps strengthen skin barrier.
-This toner gives you a glowy skin making it look more healthier and radiant while restoring the skin barrier. When I opened it, I was a bit skeptical to use this toner due to its fragrance. What I like about this toner? It was quickly absorbed by my skin and it feels moisturized all day. This also helps to remove dead skin cells from your face. (I don’t know if it’s just me.) I woke up one morning and realized that there were flake-like textures coming out of my face skin surface. (Correct me if I’m wrong!) I used this (only) during my night time skincare routine.

Notable Ingredients: Azulene, BHA+Tea Tree+Cica, Anti Sebum-P, Tanin Complex, Wheatgrass Biome (TM)

Experience/Thoughts:
~ This cleanser has a nice (herbally) tea tree scent but not so bothersome. A white gel-like texture (when dispense out of the tube) but it becomes creamy, soft and easy to lather. Despite of its characteristics, I did not feel any tightness on my face nor it did not strip my skins natural oil. Be aware of the BHA ingredients, moreover, use it cautiously if you have a sensitive skin like mine. That being the case, I prefer using this as a night time cleanser. Nevertheless it’s a mild/gentle exfoliator, and it calms down my acne without compromising my skin barrier.

𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝: Yes. It’s good for all skin types. I have an oily/acne-prone and sensitive skin so I prefer to use this at least 2-3x a week (it depends on my skin condition).
