I just went to change my skin type in Picky since I would no longer say my skin is on the oily side. I noticed they only have 4 different options to choose from, but in reality only 2 skin types, dry and oily. Can Picky add normal and combination skin type?

It’s wintertime so my skin is craving craving hydration overload. With Black Friday around the corner, I wanted to restock my toner supple with some thick toners. 


My current favorite thick toners are Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner and Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner. Cannot wait to hear your recommendations 😬🥳

What’s your favorite juicy, thick toners?!

I recently began my skincare journey just after I turned 29. I was fed up with having adult acne and felt like I should be doing something rather than using soap and water 😱. I know I cannot believe I went this long with out having a skincare routine. My mom never grew up with a sister and nor did so we never had anyone to influence us. I loved doing face masks with my friends at least I did something 🤷‍♀️🙈 

From the last two years of my skincare journey, I’ve learned some of the most important ingredients to add to my routine are antioxidants and peptides. 

Why antioxidants?
Antioxidants are important in removing free radical and preventing cells from damage such as that from sun rays. 

Why peptides?
Peptides are the building blocks for amino acids. Various amino acids are essential maintaining a strong skin barrier. The skin barrier is important in protecting our skin from harmful up rays, pollutants, and more.

As I continue to explore and dive deep into my skincare journey, I have found I really would like to continue using products high in antioxidants and peptides. 

My dream skincare line would include key ingredients like pomegranate, yuja, centella, and peptides. There are soo many good peptides to list and so many new ones developed everyday!

My must haves for this line would be a
Thicker full bodied toner, creamy essence, gel moisturizer.

BHA concentration is not strong enough. I really like products with 2% concentration. 

If you are new to skincare and do not know where to begin, I highly recommend checking this toner out! My number 1 chemical exfoliant recommendation for anyone starting a skincare routine. This toner is great for beginners since it contains many soothing and hydrating ingredients. I also love the easy flip top. 

It does contain chemical exfoliants just use with caution. 

Hidden Gem alert! I am in love with this moisturizer and its lightweight texture. I love that acids are in this moisturizers. It makes it a perfect addition for summertime skincare routine. While using this moisturizer, I haven’t had any new breakouts or any maskacne lately. 

The nozzle makes me nervous to travel with it just in case it accidently opens. 

This toner is sheer perfection! I just love that this toner has a juicy texture. I also love all the soothing ingredients included in this toner! Highly recommend to check this bad boy out.

It smells highly of tea tree, a little potent. Knocks the my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. 

This toner is an oily, acne prone skin drean! I love that this watery toner contains tea tree, cica, and a tiny bit of mugwort. I love that this product only contained a PHA making it sensitive skin friendly. I already have a back up of this toner!

A great hydrating serum for those looking for one! I love the addition of the snow mushroom and peptides.
