Hello everyone! I hope you're doing fine.

 I never thought I would write this post. Basically it's a rant post. So you can skip if you don't want to read my rant lol. 

I love Picky very much. Whenever I'm about to purchase a skincare product, I make sure to check in Picky if it is my holy grail or it's risky for me. The people here are super fun and sweet too! I love reading everyone's reviews. 

But I have a small problem. It's no big deal. And in no way I'm hating on anyone. 

It's just that some people spend so much time on Picky. They help others, write reviews and comment on every helpful post. Yet they are overlooked during the giveaways. 

I have seen so many active and worthy people not win a single giveaway. Whereas there are people who barely write any reviews, write comments. And they win all the giveaways.

Even some people I follow won 3 to 5 giveaways in a week. And when I checked the region theu reside, it's always the same country. The ones who win keeps winning. And the others are always overlooked. 

I hope things change and everyone gets an equal opportunity.

Rant

There is an ongoing sale in a local kbeauty store here. There are some good deals but however I'm on a budget now since school has started. I want to buy any one of the two products. Which would be better?


Also my skin type is dry and dehydrated.

My skin concerns are active acne and acne scars.

🧪 Key ingredients :
Propolis extract
Vitamin C
Niacinamide
Centella Asiatica Extract

This is a nourishing as well as brightening serum. It has a slightly thicker consistency. It leaves a healthy glow on my skin. Also it is my first Propolis product 👀 ik I&#39;m late to this but better late than never 😩 I loved using this! 

I love it&#39;s consistency.  It is pretty thick compared to the other serums from the kit. But it doesn&#39;t feel sticky on the skin and absorbs very well. I use this everyday in my AM routine and I&#39;ve been loving it.

I saw some brightening effects. But for my hyperpigmentation, I didn&#39;t notice any major changes. I guess I&#39;ll have to use it for longer.

𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 :

Hoppophae rhamnoides (sea buckthorn) 
Sodium hyaluronate

𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚&#47; 𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 : In short, I&#39;ve been loving this! I&#39;ve been incorporating this in my PM routine. I love the fact that it has 5% niacinamide as my skin can be very sensitive sometimes. I&#39;m so amazed at how much it brightened up my skin even though it&#39;s been just a few days. I wish I had used it earlier 😩 one more  thing that I love about this serum is that it can be layered very well with the other products and it never pills. My skin has been breaking out a lot due to my terrible sleeping schedule and eating habits. I&#39;m so surprised at how much it helps in calming down my acne. I can&#39;t talk about its long term changes yet as I have used this for just around 11 days. But I will update you whenever I change my mind!

Contains essential oils so people with sensitive skin should avoid this.

This serum has tons of other amazing ingredients 
other than just being an ordinary vitamin v Serum. 
Panthenol: soothes and calms the skin
Sodium hyaluronate : hydrates skin
Allantoin : soothes skin

Texture : it has a non-sticky gel type texture which is very interesting. It absorbs into the skin easily.

Experience : I have been using this serum in my AM routine for almost 2 months. I didn&#39;t experience any purging even though it was my first time using vitamin c. So it is beginner friendly. It leaves a soft glow. It claims to lighten dark spots in 2 weeks but I have been using this for 2 months are haven&#39;t experienced any major changes. Maybe it&#39;ll need more time. Overall I liked this serum

Nothing bad about it. I absolutely love this!

The serum has a slight green tint to it but don&#39;t worry it doesn&#39;t transfer on skin.

🌿 Texture -  It has the texture of a very light facial oil and doesn&#39;t feel slightly on the skin. Can be layered easily with other serums&#47;products. 

🌿 Packaging - It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper and minimalist design which I adore. 

🌿 Experience&#47;review - This serum is one of my favourite serums! It has the perfect texture that I look for in a serum. I have sensitive and acne prone skin, but it didn&#39;t cause me any irritation. My acne prone skin loves it. Tea tree is known to be effective for acne. It is meant for all skin types. Troubled skin will get the most benefits! I have been using this in my PM routine every night and I have to admit, it calms down my acne very well and has been helping with preventing any new acne.

Other than hydrating, there was no notable change.

This is a hydrating and brightening serum! This serum has a watery texture. It absorbs pretty easily on the skin. It claims to control sebum production. However my skin felt kinda oily after using this. It did hydrate my skin. I didn&#39;t see major brightening effect. It did moisturize my skin very well though. I just wish there were more benefits from it. 

Also I&#39;d say those with fungal acne, please skip this one. Since it has fermented ingredient (Galactomyces), it may trigger your fungal acne even more.
