2 Sunscreens which actually passed retesting āļøāļø
In January, I mentioned on Instagram 2 Korean sunscreens which I know passed both independent and external retesting after the controversy surrounding the performance of countless facial sunscreens. It seems like many people are still on the look out for sunscreens to trust, especially as it is taking longer than expected for brands to reformulate their products to meet the requirements to be classed as a high spectrum sun protection product.
I would of course like to share with you the documents which prove and support these claims, although the are not mine to share. To my knowledge they haven't publicly released the successful retesting results, but maybe they can be found somewhere online or on the brand's social media pages (I acquired the documents from an official retailer of Banobagi and d'Alba as I work with retailer as a blog writer).
These are the results:
āļø The d'Alba Waterfull Essence Sun Cream has an SPF value of 63.5 (PFA 22.10, PA ++++). This exceeded expectations. It was originally believed that it was SPF 50.
āļø The Banobagi Milk Thistle Repair Sunscreen has an SPF value of 51 (PFA 11, PA +++).
I really like both sunscreens. Have you tried either of these?
