Retinol Burn

Hi guys! I just started using the SOME BY MI retinol intense eye cream and though I started slow by applying a little every other day it burnt my skin. I stopped use immediately & skin is back to normal. Should I try to use it again but this time doing the sandwich method every other night? Or should I start with a lower retinol dosage eye cream then come back to this one? Any suggestions would help, since I’m a little worried to get another adverse reaction. I have been using the RoC retinol eye cream for quite a while, so I thought my retinol tolerance would be better.

Hyaluronic serum VS cream?

Which would you recommend to work better on skin? I’ve seen so many options for hyaluronic serums and face creams and not sure which is better.
