and also with sandwich method and sunscreen during the day. Or maybe just use on body if you still get irritated.

should we use other eye creams for those days that we don’t use retinol? my eyebags got burnt after 5-6 days of using this product 😭

Hey! this is a strong retinol so I would suggest only applying it like 3 days a week and make sure you are spacing the days you are using it. also, use thick moisturizer when applying retinol. Make sure to not mix active ingredients with the retinol to avoid irritation. Also, remember to always wear sunscreen if you are using retinol because you can get irritated from the sun. ♡

Thank you so much. Yes I am pretty vigilant about wearing suncreen after using retinol. I will re introduce the eye cream with a larger time between uses.

I heard it’s pretty strong for some people. I been using retinol for a few years so my skin i ls used to it and I don’t have any problems with dryness.
Other than moisturizing sandwich method with an eye cream, don’t forget the sunscreen around the places you apply the eye cream because retinol does make the skin a bit more sensitive to the sun.

I don’t know what exactly is causing this reaction, but you’re not the only one. The 0.1% is really a low percentage of retinol and shouldn’t bother anyone who already has been using retinol eye creams with no issues, so I’m wondering if it’s possibly the fragrance or some combination of other ingredients. I had also already been using retinol eye creams with no issues and when I started using this it caused major irritation around my eyes as well. I am ok with using it every other night now but if every other night is still irritating for you, then try every third night.

Yes that’s what I thought as well about the low percentage. It might be something else in the formula. I will try again and see how it works out.
