Cleansers for acne-prone skin
Do you know that acne-prone skin needs cleanser with right pH? Yes, too high pH of the cleanser makes an ideal environment for acne bacteria, that's why sometimes the problem with acne is in the first step of our skincare routines. Here are some cleansers I recommend for acne-prone skin

Quinoa One Step Balanced Gel Cleanser
It has the right pH and gentle formula, and it's affordable. The price-to-quality ratio is surprising. Additionally, Axis-y is cruelty-free.

Axis-y has excellent aesthetics. The packaging which gives me this natural, but the professional vibe. It's far from the dermo-cosmetic look, but I prefer it. The turquoise bottle wins! The applicator is easy to use and two pumps of the product should be enough for gentle but successful cleansing. It's a beautiful gel texture full of tiny bubbles, but the magic happens when you add water to the formula. The foam is not big, but it's a gentle foam, it won't hurt your skin. The formula is nice, I spent an hour taking macro-shots of this cleanser. When you add water to the cleanser - the formula changes into a tiny foam, it's gentle and it doesn't dry out the skin which is a key to success. I had no chance to check the pH of the product on my own and I didn't see the pH information on Axis-y's website, but it seems to be right around 5.5. I have no breakouts after using this cleanser and usually, my skin gets so bad when the cleanser has the wrong pH that I look like I'm a teenager with active acne. According to the brand, 2-3 pumps should be enough and I totally agree with this information. Axis-y Quinoa One Step Balanced Gel Cleanser should help you remove waterproof makeup - I haven't tried it on waterproof mascara because in general, I don't use cleansing foams to remove my makeup, but it does work on foundation with fixer (aka quite heavy makeup to remove). According to the company, this cleanser is cruelty-free and contains no animal ingredients.

Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser
A cult cleanser. You love it or hate it. If you have sensitive acne-prone skin, tea tree oil used in this product might be problematic for you.

A low pH gel cleanser formulated with purifying botanical ingredients. Works to soothe, refresh, and soften the skin without the stripping feeling. ๐ฆ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป ๐ง๐๐ฝ๐ฒ โฏ oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin. ๐ง๐ต๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต๐๐ + ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ Has a transparent and slight viscosity texture. And has a strong distinct smell to it that are likely the same of dishwashing liquid. Contains betaine salicylate that are bha derivatives which is much gentler than salicylic acid to target blemsihes and acne-prone causing bacteria. A little goes a long way of this product. When contact to water it creates a minimal foam that can already cleanse your face and up to my liking as well since I have oily skin even it claims to be a gel cleanser. It refreshed and cleanse my face without a stripping feeling. However, though it added betaine salicylate but it is not as effective as I thought because its much gentler than the salicylic acid. It doesn't help to lessen or even treat my breakouts. But it do help with its calming and soothing properties. I've almost finish the product and all I can say is that it's only an average cleanser to me. The downside are it has a strong gunk scent it that can be bothersome to smell. It also contains tea tree oil to it that can be irritating to some skin. The packaging also is not good thing and not travel friendly for sure since it leaks that can waste a product sm without noticing it. Overall, this is just more than the ordinary cleanser, it's even true to its claims but I can't vouch the effectiveness to it to help breakouts prone skin like me. Still worthy to try! Have you tried this one? What are your thoughts? Would rate it: 3/5 Personal Purchase ๐ธ

Dermalogy Real Cica Micellar Cleansing Foam
The packaging has changed but Neogen Real Cica Micellar Cleansing Foam still keeps the same quality and right pH. I also enjoyed cleansing oil from this series, but I believe it's discontinued.

All Clean Green Foam
The best cleansing foam for acne-prone skin. For a long time, I believed the name might be related to green clay, but it's not. Still, Centella and Witch Hazel in this cleanser help my acne-prone skin.

Heimish cleansing foam has 2 versions, I got the green one because it's cheaper than cult famous Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Cleansing Gel and at the same time it has the same pH (5,5) and better ingredients than COSRX. Still, COSRX is one of the foams I can recommend. At first, I thought it's a green clay cleanser since some people promote it as a clay cleanser. The truth is that there's no clay in it but it's still a great product. What do we get inside? Centella Asiatica Extract - an ingredient that speeds up the healing process and Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water which is a soothing ingredient. Together with All Clean Balm, they make a great duet for acne-prone skin and teenager skin. It cleans my skin well, it doesn't cause acne and it's affordable.

Time Revolution Artemisia Pack Foam Cleanser
What's so good about this product? It contains Artemisia and it's like a 2-in-1 product since it works as a cleanser and a clay mask in one.
skincarereview101
I am sharing my thoughts on @misshaus artemisia foam cleanser. ~Self-Purchased~ ๐PRODUCT AND SIZING: Missha Time Revolution Artemisia Pack Foam Cleanser, 150 ml ๐PRESENTATION: This cleansing foam comes in a tube with a twist-off cap in hues of artemisia (the design may have changed since I purchased this product). ๐ฆSTAR INGREDIENTS: This contains Ganghwa Island harvested artemisia (this is similar to what is used in some Korean rice cakes, so yum!) that is double fermented. Artemisia has been known for its soothing benefits in Korea for centuries. ๐บTEXTURE and SCENT: Because this is a 2-in-1 foaming cleanser and clay mask, it is thick, and it smells like artemisia (herbal-like). I did not see any added fragrance on the list of ingredients (yay!). ๐จโ๐ฆฑ MY THOUGHTS: I never used this as a clay mask, and my thoughts relate to its function as a foam cleanser. Because perhaps this was also intended as a mask, it is very thick and takes a long time to lather. Because it is so thick, it was challenging to dispense later on. I would have enjoyed it more if the texture had been smoother. However, once I could create enough bubbles to wash my face, it cleaned my face without feeling tight or dry afterward. I did not experience any skin irritation using this cleanser. ๐ PAIRING: In the beginning, I used this with Time Revolution Artemisia Treatment Essence. I have used this with various products over many months. Others may have different experiences based on skin types, products they use, environmental conditions, etc. ๐ทWHERE TO SHOP: @sokoglam @stylekorean_global @yesstyle

Cica Barrier 5.5 Gel Cleanser
I believe the Cica Barrier 5.5 Gel Cleanser is not as popular as Matcha Hydrating Foam Cleanser. The Matcha one didn't work well for me, it made my acne worse, but the Cica version has a gentle texture and formula.

Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser
Yam is not a typical ingredient in cleansers, but if you need a cruelty-free cleanser or even a vegan one - this one is an interesting option.
makeupbypierrejean
Personal Experience Review: PR package from @yesstyle & @isntree It's a good product that might be helpful to those who have dry skin because of it's moisturising ingredients. It appears to be a white creamy liquid type of a cleanser but then it became almost watery once applied on face. This cleanser can not remove heavy makeup or waterproof makeup, might as well start with a cleansing balm or oil then use it after. If you do simple and light makeup this will definitely do it's job.

Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser
If you expect it's an oil cleanser then let me tell you, it's more like a water-based cleanser. The milk formula cleanses the skin without destroying the skin barrier.
Betweendots
I went out of cleansing foam and I figured out that Laneige Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser has pH 5.5 aka ideal pH in cleansing foam. Let's stop right there, but it isn't a foam? Yes, I made a mistake and when I saw "milk" in the name, I thought it would be a great product for a water-based cleanser, but it's an oil-based cleanser. According to Laneige, Laneige Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser mixes traditional oil cleansing with skincare ingredients to provide your skin with lots of moisture. The same hydrating ingredients are in Laneige Cream Skin Refiner. This cleanser doesn't need an emulsifier to cleanse your skin without making it oily. The texture is creamy and it has a nice, delicate scent. Laneige didn't put any artificial scent. The product itself is very economic, I bought it by mistake but I've decided that it's going to stay with me for a while. According to Laneige, if you use waterproof makeup, you might need a pre-cleansing with makeup remover. You don't need a 2nd cleansing after Laneige Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser - you can go straight to your skincare, but I still like to use foam. I use waterproof mascara - can't imagine my life without it after wearing a mask all day long, and yes, this cleansing oil is not enough to fight with Missha's Waterproof Mascara, but the silicone base of your foundation is not a problem for Laneige. It has a mild scent, you almost can't feel it and a bottle which I find easy to use, even the pump is easy to open (while in some cases like Nivea, I used to fight with pumps a lot). I'm pretty sure that every cleanser would have problems with waterproof makeup, that's why I still think that Laneige is a good option with quite a fine availability - you can find it in many Sephora stores and other drugstores all around the world.

Chaga Jelly Low pH Cleanser
The texture of 107 Beauty 107 Chaga Jelly Low pH Cleanser is so beautiful. The formula isn't harsh even if there are small particles in the product.
skincarereview101
~Gifted, but opinions are my own~ #pr #gifted #sponsored ๐PRODUCT AND SIZING: 107 Chaga Jelly Low pH Cleanser, 120 ml ๐PRESENTATION: This cruelty-free cleanser comes in a pink plastic tube with a flip-off cap. ๐ฆSTAR INGREDIENTS: It is โformulated with special 7-year aged vinegar, chaga mushroom extract, and ten different botanical extracts. The small particles you see are green tea leaf pieces for mild exfoliation. ๐บTEXTURE and SCENT: This cleanser is soft jelly-like and has a great green scent (maybe coming from German chamomile flower, paper mulberry root, apple, Japanese camellia leaf, and green tea leaf?). It does not contain any synthetic fragrance. ๐จโ๐ฆฑ MY THOUGHTS: This is a popular cleanser I have seen great reviews for. Even before I started my IG account, I purchased a few of these for my friends with sensitive skin (I donโt want to buy something that could be irritating!) after reading many positive reviews. This smells like I am walking through a forest. It lathers well (not too much, and not too little). The small tea leaf pieces exfoliate gently and are soft on my skin. The only thing I donโt like about this cleanser is that when I wash this off, my face continues to feel a bit too slippery, and I donโt know when to stop washing my face (you know when you are almost done with washing bubbles off your face, it feels slightly different so you know you can stop). Some people may like that, though. ๐ PAIRING: I have used this with various products, including Parnell toner pads, 107 Mist Serum, Ohui eye cream, Ohui Age Recovery cream, Nineless sunscreen. Others may have different experiences based on skin types, products they use, environmental conditions, etc.
