A Decade of Oil Cleansing
It’s been 10 years maybe more since I started oil cleansing everyday. Some products really stands out and some just a pass. I realize I have tried so many I don’t even remember some of them but these are the ones that made the impression (good and bad) to my skin and those that stay as my repurchase.

Cocoa Butter Formula Cleansing Oil Face
I lost count how many bottles I’ve already purchased this, it has been a very good friend over the years. It does the job, affordable and easy to find at the stores.

I have been double cleansing for quiet some time now, almost 7 years. There were trials and errors along the way of finding the right product for my skin. I first learned about cleansing oil from a youtuber and been doing it religously ever since. I first stumble upon a Korean cleansing oil which was great one. #THE FACE SHOP - Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil. This is still my best experience with cleansing oils. However I wanted something that I can grab easily and I found #PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil Face, it feels a little thicker than TheFaceShop but still does the job very well. When I was surfing for more of their products on their website, I found another “Ultra Gentle” version. #Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula - Ultra Gentle Facial Cleansing Oil[products]#[FiveStars] Both offer almost similar feelings on my skin. Their ingredients are 90% the same. Some of the oils in them are : Soybean oil, Sweet Almond, Apricot oil, Grape Seed oil, Argan oil, Jojoba and Rice Bran oil. Both have fragrance in them(almost the last ingredient) but not overpowering it’s actually a pleasant smell plus they’re ophthalmologist approved!! I don’t wear makeup everyday, but when I do this cleansing oil removes makeup and foundation very well. I use one and a half to 2 pumps for my face and neck on my pm routine. I combine cleansing and massaging almost everyday. One bottle lasts me a long time. You can find them at Walmart, Target or other drugstores, they’re out of stock pretty often, that’s how you can tell it’s almost everyone’s favorite product. I recommend to order it from their website if you can’t get them at the stores. They’re very affordable, under $10 for 190ml/ 6.5 oz on their website. Overall, it is a very good cleansing oil to consider for skincare routine. I’ve used Palmer’s cleansing oil for almost 3 years now, and it has never failed me.

Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil
This was my first Korean cleansing oil. Perfect for oily skin in the summer, when buying online and want a quick decision this is my go to.

A good cleansing oil. If you are the type of person that hates the heavy, oily feeling or if you are scared about trying a cleansing oil because you feel like they may not be for your skin, this one could be for you. The texture of this oil is very light - not quite like water, but close enough that you’ll be surprised. It works well when it comes to the cleansing aspect - spreads easily over the skin, removes makeup and sunscreen without a problem. It emulsifies well and you can wash it off nicely. It doesn’t leave a heavy, oily residue behind. It is also quite affordable comparing to other k and j beauty cleansing oils 🥰

Pharmaact Deep Cleansing Oil
Probably the most affordable among all in this list. Feels so comfortable on the skin, one of J-beauty must have.

It promises to remove makeup, impurities and sunscreen from the face. 📑Ingredients: Mineral Oil, PEG-8 Glyceryl Isostearate, Water, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Citric Acid, Jojoba Oil, Squalane, Ethyl, Paraben, Perfume. Yes, as you can see, the first ingredient on the list is mineral oil. Unwanted by many, because it is occlusive and causes many of the problems of acne on the face. But it is an ingredient that has prevailed for years in cosmetics. It is also worth remembering that the cleansing oil is the first step in the double cleansing and must be followed by the second step with another water-based cleanser to complete the process. In the HOW TO USE, it is also recommended that ☝🏻Better for dry skin type. If you watch the video, this took off my makeup. Although I did make an effort in the eye area. I'll try using an eye make-up remover, that way I won't have to put pressure on that area. But in general it works fine. This no leave oily residue after double cleansing. I didn't see any reaction on my skin. Even though I don't usually do a lot of makeup, I had to try this product with some waterproof makeup and it was worth it. I'll be on the lookout for more options like this. 📽 In spanish w subtitles.

Squalane Cleanser
Best cleansing balm and still is that I’ve ever tried. Every “Slowvember” this is always in my cart.

First time using this was just an accidental try, this however turned out great on my skin. I treat it like cleansing balm, no need to emulsify as per direction, I just rinse with water. I use this every evening followed with water based cleanser and it makes my skin feels softer after each use. I haven’t try it on make up though so I can’t tell how it works on that, but overall it’s a great cleanser. I would say it’s a good one for those with dry skin for single cleanse even for oily skinned folks like me this is THE go-to single cleanser in the colder months. It rinses well with no feeling of any residue left behind. The Ordinary nailed it with this one.

Organic Wear Double Cleansing Oil
As good as the ingredients list is, this didn’t play well with my skin, a bit too thick to my liking and breaks me out. I ended up throwing it away at quarter bottle left.

All Clean Balm
Many likes this, it’s easy to melt on skin and cleanse very well, too bad that it has shea butter that breaks me out though I thought it’s a wash out product it wouldn’t clog my pores but that’s not the case here.

This is probably one of the most affordable cleansing balms out in the market! I bought the 120g and it is such a bang for your buck! It took me months to finish this. I also like how it is NOT a screw type lid that you need to twist off to get into the product. It makes it easier for me. The texture of this one feels like a sorbet and it melts into my skin into an oil. It can be chunky if you use too much. Applying this to my skin is not a drag. It glides into my skin very well. It also dissolves makeup decently. You can detect a citrus scent in this product. Personally it does not bother me. It did not sting nor cause any sensitivities to my skin even when I have breakouts. It was very easy to wash this product off. It turns into a milky color when it get in contact into water. I washes off effortlessly without leaving any oily residue. This also doesn't fog my vision when washing it away. My skin feels refreshed and clean without the stripping feeling! I love it. I love it for its performance, packaging and pricetag! Definitely a repurchase.

Derma Nature Fresh Blackhead Jojoba Cleansing Oil
I can’t really attest how good it is taking care of blackhead as it doesn’t bother me much. It’s an okay cleansing oil, it does its job greatly and feels alike to Kumano Pharmaact one tbh.
