It's light weight and absorbs quickly, no sticky or rubbery residue. It layers well with moisturizer. I use it both day and night after cleanser and toner, followed by moisturizer. I am absolutely obsessed with this stuff! My sample came in the cutest package, you had to slide your thumb up the middle of all three separated products to mix them all in one. The consistency was very thin and watery, smells delicious and sank into my skin immediately. The three parts include ferulic acid, vitamin C plus niacinamide and acide with hyaluronic acid.
