With that being said, let’s dive into what I thought of this product! 🌱 As someone with acne prone skin, this product particularly interested me. I saw so many tiktok videos talking about this product so I was really excited to be given the opportunity to try this. 🌱 This product claims to target skincare issues such as redness, blemishes, irritation as well as hydrate and brighten the skin. 🌱 Key ingredients support the claims. Niacinamide is an ingredient I sought after in my skincare so I was pleased to see this ingredient near the top of the list. It also contains Centella asiatica extract, which is proven to help with soothing and reducing redness of the skin. It also helps with evening out the skintone. 🌱 I’m currently using this in my rotation because through the few days I’ve used this, I’ve seen some improvements in my skin already. 🌱 The smell of this is light and very refreshing. It is an added bonus that this has a very clean smell with no fragrance. This is perfectly suitable for those with sensitive skin. 🌱 I rate this a 10/10 so far. No stinging feel, reduces appearance of dark spots, and actually reduces the redness in my face. I feel that this actually works in targeting the skin issues I had. First time trying Dr.G RED Blemish Clear Quick Soothing Pads, and I can safely say, I like these. Because of my previous experience with the brand working well for my skin type, I had high expectations of these, and these didn’t disappoint. These pads work well for my skin. Let’s head dive into why I like these: 💚 Contains 5-Cica Protection: Provides quick moisturizing and protection for my combination skin from the harsh environment. 💚 Contains 89% Pennywort Extract: Helped with deeply hydrating and calming any irritation on my face. 💚 Has an instant cooling effect: Felt like a mini spa treatment at home. It left my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. 💚 Easy to apply: The size of the pads are huge that they cover my cheeks in one go. 💚 Soft Natural Fabric: The pads are made of a luxurious, soft fabric that feels gentle on my skin, making each use a pampering experience. I rate these a 5/5.

I’ve gone through my fair share of foam cleansers, and thankfully, I also happen to like this one. But what stands out to me about the brand is the fact they are inclusive in ways you normal wouldn’t even think about, and therefore, it’s the little details that make me love this brand: 🍏The boxes had textured dots I originally couldn’t pinpoint and immediately figured was Braille. I don’t think I’ve seen a lot of brands put braille as a feature to help a customer base that is often overlooked. It felt very inclusive and I can see the brand’s goal through this thoughtful touch. 🍏 The box has its own expiration date, but there is an option where you can note when you opened the jar of cream. Again, I don’t see most brands doing this so this was a thoughtful gesture, once again. 🍏 This cleansing foam is tailored for acne-prone skin. It promises hydration, soothing, and sebum control. I can say it definitely works for keeping my acne at bay. It also foams up nicely, hence it’s a foam cleanser. It did not leave my skin feeling stripped of its natural oils, but still cleansed my face properly. 🍏 Bonus: It's fragrance-free, a definite plus!

This isn’t my first time trying this particular ampoule from SKIN1004 and I’m so glad to have won another bottle from this giveaway! As someone with combo skin, this has worked well with repairing my skin barrier and keeping it free from acne breakouts. Here are some additional pros to why I love this particular product (and the brand in general!): 🧸 The texture is very watery, so it’s easily absorbable by the skin. 🧸 There is NO sticky residue afterwards. The skin instead projects the best glow and looks hydrated. 🧸 While most reviews say they this doesn’t have a scent, I personally smell a faint herbal-like smell, which I actually love. 🧸 Because of how lightweight this is, it’s easy to add on other products onto your skin without the fear of clogging your pores. 🧸 This is mainly an antioxidant product meant to protect your skin barrier, and I’d say it performs that function pretty well. Overall, this gets a 4.6/5 for me. This isn’t my top favorite, but it is within my top three.

Cleansing oils was never something I took seriously, to be honest, because coconut oil was usually my main go to for removing leftover makeup. I do notice though that if not washed properly, it can lead to clogged pores, so I end up using a foam cleanser twice, which sometimes left my skin feeling dry. I tried this for a few days now and I see now why a cleansing oil is preferred. 🥀 Cleansing oil has reduced my face cleansing routine by half, and I prefer it this way. This particular cleansing oil did not irritate or dry out my skin, which I loved. 🥀 This has sunflower seed oil, olive oil, and jojoba oil, which has multiple benefits for your skin. It did not cause new breakouts for me, which was its main favorable point. 🥀 This has a nice smell of bergamot and rose blend, and kind of leans lemon-y but in a good way. I love when my skincare has this nice herbal-y smell. 🥀 This cleanses very easily and does not leave any residue.

TLDR, this toner does a general good job of hydration with no specific benefits. I tried to use this toner for a few days before giving my honest opinion on this. From general knowledge, licorice is usually know to help with hyperpigmentation, but frankly, because I am using skincare with stronger potency, I can’t vouch for how effective it is for hyperpigmentation. With that being said, I do still think this is a decent toner and does give you a nice glow. My main pros for this product is: 🐻 It’s moisturizing and brightening for the day. It has a mild cleansing effect that helps your skin appear brighter. 🐻 I personally like the smell. It’s an herbal citrusy smell (which I do like) but it may smell like cleaning solution to some people. 🐻 I didn’t experience any side effects with this to be honest. 🐻 There is no stickiness after applying this product.

To be honest with you, I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a Korean skincare product with such a thick texture cream because I’d attribute that they focus on thinner consistency to help the product absorb better. This was probably my first time working with such a thick texture, and it was not bad at all! With that being said, let’s get into my brief feedback on this product: 🩶 My overall rating for this is 4/5. 🐋 Pros: - It’s very moisturizing. The super thick texture isn’t something I’ve come across in other korean skincare products. More often than not, the Korean skincare realm tends to be thinner in consistency and texture. - It contains Panax Ginseng Root Extract which is a known benefit for its antioxidant and emollient properties for the skin. - I feel that this is best suited for cold weather/months but can be used in the summer if you have super dry skin. As someone with combination skin, I only use this at night, when it gets a bit chilly in NYC.
