Here’s another series of giveaways I’ve won during the month of June and my thoughts on them! I’m eternally grateful for these opportunities. ❤️

Vitamin A Glow Retinol Cream
While this cream is great, I don’t think I’ll reach for it often. I’m glad I’ve been able to test it. I already have a favorite moisturizer (Dr.G R.E.D. Blemish cream) and I haven’t found anything that beats that for me.

Another exciting review about one of my favorite types of skin care products - face creams! I was lucky enough to win and test this cream, and it did not disappoint! While it did not blow me out of water, it did meet my expectations (which is good and a standard benchmark for me), hence I give this a 4/5. Here are my thoughts to as why I gave it this rating: 🍓 This cream has a packaging that is very similar to Drunk Elephant’s or Bubble’s moisturizer packaging - which I LOVE. I’m totally obsessed with how this pumps the right amount of cream into the basin of the top, which is more than enough for your face and neck. Waste not, right?! 🍓 This cream is meant to restore elasticity and youthfulness to the skin hence the ingredient retinol in it. I would say it contains multiple ingredients that give it an 80% conditioning factor such pantheon, emotion, and tocopherol, all really great ingredients for the skin. 🍓 There is a generous standard amount in this jar (50 mL). 🍓 The product does not have an offending smell or a strong scent, which was perfect for my sensitive nose. 🍓 This is silicone free, just an FYI. While it doesn’t make much of a difference for me, if you’re someone who prefers no silicone in their product, this is the cream for you! Overall, I give this a 4/5 as it was great and met my expectations.

Vitamin A Glow Retinol Serum
Nice texture and consistency! It felt more light a light lotion than a serum. This was hydrating on the skin. A pro is that the retinol amount is pretty low so it’s perfect for beginners who want to try retinol-based products for the first time.
TasTheStuff
As someone who’s always open to try new skincare to see if it can be incorporated into a new skincare routine, I was lucky enough to win this via a giveaway. I honestly had no idea what this brand stands for or what their goals are, but I believe that aspect is always shown through the skincare products they put out there. This Vitamin A Glow Retinol Serum meets my expectations and is great, hence it gets a standard 4/5 stars from me. Let’s dwell into more reasons why I gave it this rating: ❣️ It contains 0.1% pure retinol, which is a bit less than most industry standards (ranges from 0.1 -1 percent), which I think is a good approach for skincare beginners. If you’re new to retinol and have no idea what you’re doing, this product is good for a start. It will not irritate the skin barrier. ❣️ It also contains vitamin A and vitamin E, which are great for oxidative protection of the skin. ❣️ There is no detectable scent in this product, well at least, not to me. I am someone with a sensitive nose, and I found this comfortable to apply without irritating my sinuses. ❣️The consistency of this feels similar to lotion - not too heavy, and not too light. I felt that it moisturized the face pretty well. Overall, this earns a 4/5 for me.

Wrinkle-Fit Tangle Eye Cream
Omg, I’ve been using this eye cream consistently the past week! I’m so obsessed with the device, I can already see changes!
TasTheStuff
This eye cream particularly caught my eye as I found it to be different from the other eye creams I have. Safe to say, I think this will be my new favorite. I’ve already been using it several times this week, and I’m not the one to really pay attention to eye creams as I should. ❤️ I find the three modes very unique as I often don’t come across devices that have more than one mode, especially for eye creams. The technology and science behind this sounds amazing, and I personally feel that I have seen some results. ❤️ This eye cream device is meant to help with sagging and puffiness of the under eye area, and I have seen a reduction in puffiness (since puffiness is what I rather suffer from). I cannot speak for the sagging effect but I had it tested on my mom, who said she saw some difference in her under-eye area. ❤️ It has three modes: - Green is meant to massage the under area generally. You feel vibrations with this mode. - Red provides warmth to the under-eye area, and there are no vibrations in this mode - Yellow is a combination of heat and vibrations (my personal favorite) because I feel like that is what really makes the difference in the under-eye area. ❤️ This product’s main ingredients consist of collagen extract and silkworm cocoon extract. These are great skin-conditioning ingredients. It also contains polyphenols to promote anti-oxidation, which protects the skin from harmful factors in the environment. ❤️ This has NO scent, which is friendly for every skin type.

Liquid Highlighter
The perfect highlighter for the clean girl makeup! I’m very particular about highlighters and this was right up my alley.
TasTheStuff
I’m so excited to give my thoughts on the first ever makeup giveaway I won on this app! This experience has piqued my interest in the k-beauty world and I’ve been interested in seeing how this realm has changed since my last interest in k-beauty in 2015. I did not have great opinion on k-beauty products before, but this experience single-handedly changed what I once perceived k-beauty as, and it wasn’t great before. I’m glad to say, I am pleased with this set I received, and given that I LOVE clean girl and soft glam makeup, this was right up my alley. The shades are as follows: 💖01 Dewy Moon: Subtle shimmer, great for any skin tone as it’s pretty neutral. 💖02 Glosser: Clear and transparent, gives the best “wet” look, and perfect on all skin tones. 💖03 Glitter Veil: Subtle gold and pink glitter, looks warm toned. 🎀 For every single highlighter, I loved how it starts with a subtle sheen that can easily be built up. I prefer highlighters that are more subdued instead of in your face, so these worked super well with me. 🎀 I’m a firm believer that liquid highlighters are better than powder ones. I switch between cream and liquid highlighters often because they go well with the makeup I usually have on. 🎀 Each shade is almost similar but there are subtle differences. The most notable difference was 02 Glosser, as it does not have any iridescent pearls, and is personally perfect for every day wear. This particular shade gives the glass look the most, in my opinion. 🎀 These are compact, and very easy to carry around. I don’t think you really need touch ups with these (since they last quite a while), but the option exists. 🎀 These have a very light fragrance that sensitive noses can tolerate. I did not experience any migraine or headache issues. (I have a sensitive nose, and strong smells don’t work well with me.) 🎀 It’d be worthwhile to know that shades 01 Dewy Moon and 03 Glitter Veil have an SPF ingredient, titanium dioxide. It’s nice to see a little bit of skincare being incorporated into makeup, and know that it’s not necessarily damaging your skin. It also contains ingredients such as sodium hyaluronate and tocopherol, which serve as moisturizer and antioxidant, respectively. My final rating for these is 4.5/5. They are beautiful, and are perfect for those who are into more of a subtle makeup look. These work well with both silicone and water based foundations I own.

Liquid Highlighter
This highlighter is perfect with warm toned makeup, even though the bottle looks cool toned. It has little gold and pink shimmers in it.

The True Cream Aqua Bomb
This moisturizer has been reformulated and frankly didn’t make it into the top 5 for me. I will say it’s great for hydration, and if you’re looking mainly for hydration, I’d recommend to give this a try.
TasTheStuff
It’s been a pleasure to be able to test the true cream - aqua bomb from Belif. FYI, this is a reformulation, so I already have experienced their older formulation a couple years back. I loved the old formulation, but usually change my skincare over the years depending on my skin needs. Belif’s already made a stand in their reputation of being a great skincare company, so naturally, I had high expectations for this product. I will say that as much as it gets hype for being a truly moisturizing cream, this just met my expectations and didn’t have a distinguishing factor that made me rave over it. 🌊 This cream is hydrating. With infused ingredients like niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, this cream does provide ample hydration to the skin. According to the claims, it provides 231.4% rapid increase in skin hydration level, and while I can’t measure that, I will say that I do feel that my skin stays hydrated for a 24 hour period. 🌊 There’s no stickiness or greasy feel post application 🌊 I did not experience any allergic or skin reactions. I can see that niacinamide isn’t the best for sensitive skin so do a patch test. 🌊 The texture is watery - hence aqua bomb. 🌊 There is a scent to this product. To me, it smells like lemongrass and citrusy.

Yuja Vitamin Sleeping Mask
While my skin generally doesn’t tolerate citrus based products, this was gentle enough and my skin did not react! It does help your skin look brighter after a nice sleep session with this mask on. 🌼
TasTheStuff
Here’s to a new exciting review of a sleeping mask I’ve just gotten, the Hanyul Yuja Vitamin Sleeping Mask! What skincare brand do you know incorporates traditional Korean herbal ingredients with modern skincare technology? While there may be some, there’s something particularly special about this brand utilizing this in a different way. For instance, this mask incorporates the concentrate of six whole yujas into one jar! Let me dive further into why I ended up liking this way more than I thought I would: 🌼 The Korean yuja fruit is known to be packed with vitamin C, which is great for fighting hyperpigmentation and revitalizing the skin. 🌼 The scent is this is a soft citrus smell, and I found myself obsessing with the scent in particular. 🌼 Surprisingly, this worked well with my sensitive skin and left me no side effects. My skin can’t tolerate citrus based products due to sensitivity issues, but I did not face that issue. 🌼 I will stay it did sting slightly in the beginning that quickly went away within the first two seconds. I recommend doing a patch test before you use this on a regular basis. Overall, I rate this a 4.2/5. It is a nice mask I’ll incorporate in my skincare routine, but not for everyday use.

Midnight Blue Calming Cream
I liked this more than I anticipated I would. Normally, moisturizers that only focus on soothing bore me as I like more out of my skincare products, but this really helped my minor eczema patches, which I thought was really neat!
TasTheStuff
Here’s to another review of my favorite type of skincare product - a moisturizer! I feel like it’s a general safe skincare product that suits most skin types, and given that mine is oily and sensitive, I often look for ones that won’t break me out. I’ve had the chance to test out Dear, Klairs’ Midnight Blue Calming Cream and here are my honest thoughts on this: 🌀 Very rarely do I come across moisturizers with formulations that aren’t white, but this one was interesting! It’s blue in color, which I think is a good motivator in getting your daily skincare in. 🌀 The texture is a little thicker than your average lightweight moisturizer but still light enough to be easily absorbed into your skin. 🌀 I have eczema and I found that this helped soothe areas with eczema, which honestly impressed me. 🌀 This felt more like a moisturizer aimed in soothing and reducing irritation. If you don’t have issues with redness or irritation, this may not feel anything special. Overall, this gets a 4/5 from me.

Atobarrier 365 Cream
Because of the current climate + heat waves I’m in, I don’t find this suitable to use at the moment. However, this reminds me of aquaphor a bit, which I love using when my dry patches need a bit more hydration. I still rate this a 5/5, knowing I’ll definitely be using this during the winter time.
TasTheStuff
While I have combination skin that leans sensitive and oily, I sometimes do get dry skin. I tend to stay away from formulations meant for solely dry skin, especially during the summer. Recently, I have been experiencing some dry patches under my under eye area, and I was lucky enough to get this to test on those spots specifically. I loved this more than I thought I would, given that the following day, applying makeup was a breeze. Let’s get into the specifics of why I really like this product and the benefits it contains: 🔹 First thing that caught my attention was that this has no smell. It smells like something a dermatologist would create that actually helps with skin. The scent smelled a bit sterile to me, but not in a bad way. 🔹The thick and smooth texture is evident of this formulation lasting for hours on the skin. I had this on for 24 hours and the following day, my makeup was a breeze to apply, and I experienced no dry patches. I read that this provides 120 hours of moisture, and I would believe that easily because it is a thick and rich cream. 🔹 When you spread the product, there’s so many particles you’ll see - they’re capsulized ceramides. It is dispersed so evenly that you can be sure you’re utilizing the maximum benefits for your skin. 🔹 I would label this as a soothing cream as well. The dry patches under my eye were quenched after applying this. Overall, this easily gets a 5/5 from me. I may not utilize this every day, but I will utilize it often for days my skin feels a bit more dry than usual.

Natural Repair Serum
This was actually a February win, which I just received about a week ago. I generally did like this, but it didn’t pass off as one of my favorites. The stickiness/tackiness cause sensory issues for me while it was drying (lowkey wanted to take it off) but as I let it dry, it became matte and completely absorbed.
TasTheStuff
I’m glad I finally got the opportunity to test these after a long delay of the shipment from the company. Naturally I was a bit reluctant to test these quickly and give an opinion on the spot, and decided to wait a week. After testing it for about a week, I had a chance to get a better understanding of the Natural Repair Serum. I had a generally positive view of this product, but it didn’t do anything in particular to wow me. Here are some reasons showing what I thought of this: 🥀 The texture and consistency of this serum is beautiful, no doubt. It is more of a transparent brown colored serum rather than the usual clear or white serums often found in the market. I found this to be somewhat of an aesthetic appeal rather than a beneficial one. 🥀 This is quite hydrating. You do feel your skin absorbing this. I didn’t feel any stinging or tingling sensation, which makes this relatively safe for most skin types. I did, however, feel a slight stickiness/tackiness during application which I don’t like; thankfully it didn’t last too long and went away after it completely dried down. The tackiness is what docked a star for me. 🥀 This has almost zero scent to it. I was surprised. Given that the serum is a bit colored, I thought there would be a scent but there wasn’t any. 🥀This contains some of the popular goodies found in skincare like niacinamide (for anti-acne purposes), Panax Ginseng Root Extract (an antioxidant), glycerin (for hydration), and Pathenol (for soothing effect). Overall this gets a solid 3.5/5 for me. It’s a good product, just not my favorite. I didn’t see any big difference, which is why I docked down another half star.

pH Hyaluron Gel Cleanser
This along with the Hyggee Natural Repair serum was actually a February win but I didn’t receive it until about a week ago. I love this product! If you want a cleanser that is smooth, free of particles, unscented, and doesn’t dry out your face post-wash, you should try this!
TasTheStuff
The first thing that caught my eye was how this fit into the aesthetic I love - clean, simple, muted colored - a perfect match with my vanity. This did take a while to arrive, so I couldn’t give my opinion on this for a while. However, after testing it for about a week, I’ve come to better understand what this brand represents, and I like it. Overall, this earns a solid 4.5/5 for me and for the following reasons: 🦢 Its viscosity is perfect for a cleanser. Think of glycerin but with slightly thicker viscosity. You can feel the product working on your skin while you’re washing it. 🦢 It’s clear. I prefer my cleansers to be clear as it reassures me that this product is clean and free of particles. 🦢 It’s completely fragrance free. It won’t mix with your scented skincare (if you have any) and cause a weird smell. It won’t trigger headaches or migraines either. 🦢 Once you wash it off, your skin will feel clean and hydrated, not stripped of its natural oils or tight. I did not experience any side effects with this product. Overall, a solid 4.5/5. It’s one I’ll be using in my skincare routine once I finish my current one.

Mugwort Super Calming Toner
I wanted to like this more but honestly have doubts about its efficacy. I am still going to try this for another month and see if it makes any changes to my skin, and I’ll update.
TasTheStuff
Here’s to another Meditherapy product review - the Mugwort Super Calming Toner. I was interested in trying this, knowing that mugwort has benefits to it. I decided to give this a try. After a week of trying it out, I can say that I haven’t really seen much of a difference in my face. Here’s an overview of what I thought of this product: 🌳 The texture is as viscous as water - it’s very low. It makes application super easy after cleansing the face. 🌳 It did not sting my face on application, and I have sensitive combination skin. 🌳 Though it does say mugwort in the name, the amount of mugwort concentration here is pretty low due to it being near the bottom of the ingredient list. I’ve tried other brands that contain mugwort, and thought this one wasn’t great as those. 🌳 I feel that this is an okay toner, not one I would reach for often. I’d rate this a 3/5. It’s not great, but not bad either. This is very good for extremely sensitive skin type though, which I don’t have.
