Hi guys! I was fortunate enough to test on some goodies from Centellian24. I’m still a bit iffy on this line, but that can change anytime. I hope these reviews help you decide whether you’d like to try it or not. Happy reading!

This feels like those cream in tubes you get at the pharmacy— usually great for winter due to the thickness and creaminess. I wouldn’t use this during warmer months though, as it can feel thick.

Update March 25, 2025 I initially expressed disinterest in this product a couple of months ago (October 2024) and originally rated it a 3/5. I didn’t use it again until mid-January, when I decided to give it another try. Now, at the end of March, I’m nearly finished with my first tube, and my perspective has changed based on my experience over the past two months. I previously mentioned that this cream is thick, and now that we’re transitioning from winter to spring, my skin can use all the extra hydration it can get. It has a rich application but absorbs well, feeling lightweight once blended in—almost like a thin salve. My skin has been loving this during the winter—I wake up with hydrated, plump skin that creates a great base for sunscreen and makeup. I’m still unsure why this formula contains so many essential oils. While they haven’t caused me any irritation, I feel the cream would be better off unscented, especially for those sensitive to fruit- or herb-based essential oils (like orange peel oil, rosemary extract oil, etc.). That said, I haven’t had any negative reactions after two months of use. For these reasons, I feel comfortable bumping my rating up to a 4/5, as it worked well for me—especially in colder weather. Whether it holds up in warmer seasons is still up for debate. __________________________________________________ Original - October 30, 2024 When I first saw this brand, Centellian24, the first thing that came to mind was that it is very similar to pharma-branded/medical doctor skincare brands. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I wanted to see what this brand had to offer and whether their products would be suitable for someone with an oily/combo skin type. I’ve got three products to test from this brand, which allows me to provide a more conclusive and thorough opinion on them. 🍎 Madeca Cream Time Reverse My Rating: 3/5 A Bit of Background on Centellian 24 Madeca Cream Time Reverse: - An alcohol-free cream used during the last step of a skincare routine - Contains 50 mL / 1.69 fl. oz. - Purpose: to prevent aging and firm/plump the face 🍎 I really did not like that the ingredient information wasn’t readily accessible, as this is one of the things I look for to determine if I can use a product on my combo/oily skin. After some digging, I was able to find the list. 🍎 As for the ingredients list, I was a bit surprised to find that it comprises 78 ingredients. While there were some great ingredients, there were also many icky ones that don’t sit well with me. 🍎 I like the texture of this cream. It has a bit of weight and is opaque without being overly thick. It does not have the consistency of a watery cream; this feels like those creams you find in prescription drugs, the ones with a heavier density. It’s nicely hydrating, for sure. 🍎 The scent is quite medicinal. It has an herbal smell I can’t quite pinpoint—you’ll either love it or hate it. I don’t mind it. 🍎 A particular ingredient, Active Teca, consists of a few patented ingredients, including: - Centella Asiatica Peptide - Centella Asiatica Vitamin - Centella Asiatica Ceramide - Centella Asiatica Hyaluronic Acid - Centella Asiatica Protein Extract The goal is to improve the skin’s firmness in the deeper layers. 🍎 The amount of perfuming agents is staggering and somewhat deters me from putting my complete trust in this. It hasn’t caused a reaction for me, but my skin did tingle for a bit upon application before settling down. I’m not sure this is suitable for everyone, as there are potential allergens since it contains so many essential oils. Overall, I give this a 3/5. It’s not bad, but the overwhelming number of essential oils isn’t sitting right with me. I also don’t think this is good for warmer months, as it can be too thick, but it may be great for winter.

This did hydrate my skin well, but I didn’t see any improvement in terms of hyperpigmentation reduction after using it for a week.

When I first saw this brand, Centellian24, the first thing that came to mind was that it is very similar to pharma-branded/medical doctor skincare brands. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I wanted to see what this brand had to offer and whether their products would be suitable for someone with an oily/combo skin type. I’ve got three products to test from this brand, which allows me to provide a more conclusive and thorough opinion on them. 🌹 Mela Capture Ampoule Max My Rating: 3/5 A Bit of Background on Centellian 24 Mela Capture Ampoule Max: - Highly concentrated ampoule meant for treating dark spots before the moisturization step in a skincare routine - Contains 15 mL / 0.5 fl oz - Purpose: to improve old dark spots, freckles, or blemishes and promote a brighter, even complexion 🌹 As a POC, I was immediately interested—this seemed like the kind of product I’d hope could tackle older blemishes that don’t completely fade. 🌹 The small size is a plus; it’s ideal for testing without a big commitment since this is a pricey product. The 15 mL provides enough time to decide if it’s worth a full-size purchase. 🌹 After only a week of use, I didn’t have enough time to see any changes in hyperpigmentation. My initial impressions are: - Pros: It does make my skin feel supple and firmer. However, there’s a lingering feeling on the skin until it fully absorbs. - Texture: A bit watery with some density, applying semi-opaque and drying to a semi-matte finish. - Scent: Has a noticeable herbal fragrance—heavy on the perfume, which I’m not a fan of. - Brightening: No visible brightening effect so far, despite the brand claiming “visible improvement after just 5 days.” I can’t verify this but plan to update if I see changes after a longer trial. - Breakouts: No new breakouts, though I use other products that help prevent blemishes, so it’s hard to isolate this ampoule’s effects on that. 🌹 This product uses patented ingredients, including 10,000 PPM (1%) Gluta-CTM (which contains pure vitamin C, glutathione, and hyaluronic acid), 2,000 PPM (0.2%) MELACLEAN, and 5,000 PPM (0.5%) MELADROP. I’m not sure how effective these patented ingredients are, and there isn’t much information on their specific compositions, but I imagine their main purpose is to target hyperpigmentation. I personally haven’t seen results yet. - Niacinamide, included here, is likely the ingredient targeting hyperpigmentation, but it’s so common in Korean skincare that I’m unsure what sets this ampoule apart in the skincare industry besides the use of their patented ingredients. Overall: I’m giving this a 3/5. It claims to target dark spots, but I haven’t seen any brightening effect so far. I’ve used other anti-hyperpigmentation products that delivered visible results in as little as three days, so this one hasn’t impressed me yet.

My favorite product of the line! I wasn’t expecting this to do anything other than hydrating, but when I used the textured side to swipe my face, stuff I’ve never seen on my face came out! It was so digustingly satisfying. Love this!

💥 Madeca Mela Capture Ampoule Pad My Rating: 4/5 A Bit of Background on Madeca Mela Capture Ampoule Pad: - Anti-hyperpigmentation ampoule pads designed for use during step 2 or 3 of a skincare routine (after cleansing) - Contains 60 pads with a total of 165 mL - Purpose: to enhance overall skin tone by reducing melanin production 💥 I’m a fan of toner pads, but this one stands out as it’s formulated with ampoule rather than toner. Because of this, I use it in the third step of my skincare routine, allowing it to fully absorb for better skincare benefits. I also appreciate the hygienic application. 💥 Like others in this line, it highlights patented ingredients like TECA and 74% Centella Asiatica Extract for “whitening” effects. While Centella Asiatica isn’t widely recognized for anti-hyperpigmentation, the marketing emphasizes this benefit. 💥 It includes three patented ingredients that are suggested to target hyperpigmentation: - Mela-Clean: 100 PPM (0.01%) - Mela-Zero: 100 PPM (0.01%) - Mela-Drop: 100 PPM (0.01%) - Mela-Capture: (Made-White 300 PPM (0.03%), Niacinamide 30,000 PPM (3%), Alpha-bisabolol 200 PPM (0.02%)) Ultimately, the effectiveness will depend on the potency of these ingredients. Niacinamide seems to be the primary agent for brightening, which is common in other skincare brands. After a week of use, I noticed a bit of brightening that may have resulted from this, along with some unseen gunk mysteriously coming out of my pores. I also noticed some whiteheads easily falling out. 💥 This product contains fewer perfuming agents (essential oils) than others in the line. Thankfully, I haven’t experienced any irritation or reaction. 💥 It does a good job hydrating and plumping the skin. 💥 I used the textured side on my face, and after swiping for a few minutes, it seemed to remove some unseen whiteheads/dirt. This alone surprised me and made me like the product even more. Overall: I’d rate this a 4/5. It’s one of the better options within this skincare line, offering hydration and skin health benefits, and improves the overall skin texture and tone.
