milia

I always struggled with milia and textured skin. I don‘t know why I have so much of it. Since i‘m using la roche-posay and switched to clean beauty, it‘s much better but i still have to go to the cosmetics to remove the milia. My dermatologist couldn‘t help me...so I have always a fear when I try new products, that they will break me out. Is there anybody with the same problem?

I have milia as well! I don’t have as much of it anymore and they are definitely getting smaller from using AHA. I currently use the Isntree AHA Essence and it helps a lot. If you break out easily though, I would patch test the essence first and if it works, then just use it on the areas with milia. It’s also super affordable(I got it for $8) so it won’t hurt to try ☺️

I also have milia and I found the best regimen for me is a retinol/retinoid plus AHA/BHA (alternating days and up to 3x a week). If you are new to these, I would recommend starting with AHA first and then adding on a retinol/retinoid later if needed. Start slow! It usually takes a couple months to really see an improvement!

If your milia isn't bad anymore you can definitely pass on the retinol! One less active to worry about! 😄

I never found a good product to help me with mine but an odd observation I found is that it appears a lot more if I cry. Not sure it this is common but that’s what I noticed on myself

I understand you, i‘ve tried so much! The best way is to ask your derm of choice and use the product, that BobaMo recommended me🥰 But you‘ve to go to a cosmetican to clear the milia, you can‘t do it alone or no product can help. You can prevent milia but not clear your existing milia.

Hi! You can try to use a gentle exfoliant. Like azelaic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid, PHA, AHA. I like more the mandelic acid from by wishtrend, but I think anyone of this can help you. You can't use an acid and retinol in the same routine and you can always use sunscreen
