It mostly depends on which state you live in and the courier company used. I'm in Selangor and I've never been taxed for any of the giveaways I've received in the past, whether through Picky or directly from the brands. However, certain states (Penang, Kedah, Perlis, Sabah, Sarawak) have a stricter customs department and will almost always get taxed/a warning letter/items detained when the products are delivered using FedEx or DHL. This is based on the experiences shared by other Malaysian Picky members.

Hii there! I am from Msia too🥹 Last year I got warning from our jabatan farmasi and kastam. At that time I received quite a huge package, that is why😂 But luckily, at last they release my package as it is my first time. On the invoice they give to me, I suppose to pay for the tax around rm142 something. It is depend on the value/sales tax of the product.
